In the prison, the royals that were once ruling on the thrones are now locked into a cell with all of them silent as they are told by one of the guards that their deaths will be hanging in front of a crowd of everyone that was ordered to be in the town center at noon or face the wrath of their new king 'Infinite'
Shadow on the other hand was determined to find a way out of the cells as he tried anything out of desperation with the only thing that was driving him from falling apart was the rage and vengeance he had towards Infinite.
'he got out of here himself somehow, so I'm sure there must be a way that I can find out myself and use it'
he called out from the other side of the cell and try to get Silver's attention that was also locked up along with Rouge that was badly beaten with one of her wings dislocated.
Shadow: any luck?
Silver: no nothing, you made this place pretty much unescapable so my guess's is he used that ability of allusion to escape from here
Shadow: shit!
he said as he slammed his fist against the bars, grabbing the attention of his cell mates that was silently praying for a miracle till he heard Jules speak to his wife
Jules: that bastard...he killed him right in front of us
Allena: I know dear and we our all devastated....just as you are
the cries from his wife and two other children was heard by all the others in the cell, switching Jules anger to make one comment that he made towards Shadow
Jules: he should of never of come here with you. if he didn't then he would of been at home with us, safe and sound......it's your fault Shadow that my son is dead
Shadow snap as he stormed over to Jules and smashed his fist against his face before telling him what he thought of him
Shadow: the only bastard here that should blame themselves for Sonic getting harmed EVER IN HIS LIFE IS YOU!
Jules didn't know how to reply since he was trying to collect himself from the floor as Shadow carry on speaking
Shadow: you try to control him and take away his freedom...DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT A FATHER SHOULD BE THAT WAY TOWARDS THEIR SON!
Jules: I did my best as his father to give him a good future where he would be protected by an army
Shadow:....you never saw him as a son have you?....you only see him as a pawn for your fucking realm that you already abandon once....you expect him to change himself after being forced to grow up and struggle on his own, find all of you and lead you all to victory and yet you still expect him to sacrifice more of himself, just so you could have a safe mind that someone would take over your role....you should of as a father, be their protecting him rather than controlling him
Jules: I have been protecting him!
Shadow: LOCKING HIM UP IS NOT PROTECTING HIM, IT WAS GOING TO DESTROY THE REAL HIM.....a real father would stand by what his son wants and support him......you never deserve a son like him and you don't even deserve to worship the grounds he walks on for what he's already done for you and your realm!
