Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, in Z+Marinette's room. Scene pans to Marinette's mannequin, her emptied walls that was once full of photos of Adrien and her friends, and her trash bin, which is now filled with photos of Adrien. Sabine enters through her trap door.
Sabine: Marinette, you're going to be really late!
Marinette: (groans from her bed) I don't wanna go to school, Mom. I'm not feeling well.
Sabine frowns at Marinette's response and goes downstairs.
Tom: So?
Sabine: She just needs some time. Why don't you go bake her some chouquettes? I'm sure she would like that.
Back in Z+Marinette's bedroom, Marinette is still seen on her bed under her blanket.
Tikki: You can't stay in your room forever.
Marinette groans in reply.
Tikki: What will you do if an akumatized villain shows up?
Marinette: (takes off her blanket off her face annoyingly and removes her earring) Just give my Miraculous to whoever you want, Tikki! (Tikki pushes Marinette's hand with her earring back to her) They can never be as bad as I was. Nothing ever works out for me. Adrien? Never even started. Luka? Couldn't work out. Cat Noir? Didn't even get off the ground. I'm so pathetic!
Tikki: Of course not! You're an amazing Ladybug!
A montage of Ladybug fighting off akumatized villains like Sapotis, Party Crasher and Puppeteer is seen.
Marinette: But I am just a normal girl with a normal life. But there's something about me that no one knows yet. I'm pathetic! (hides under her blanket)
Tikki: You're overreacting, Marinette!
Marinette: (a tad furious) Really? Then, how come I lost the Miraculous I was entrusted with all because of love?? Love only ever causes problems. I'll never fall in love again! Love is weak! And I can't be sad about it; otherwise, I might get akumatized! (buries her head in her arms)
Alya is seen calling Marinette's phone.
Tikki: It's Alya, your best friend! She was a superhero once. She'll know how to make you feel better!
Marinette: If I talk to her, she'll catch my weakness. (hides under her blanket again)
Marinette's phone rings again, but this time, Adrien is the one calling her. Tikki cannot do anything but frown.
Zane walks over.
Zane: Alright Im Gone.
Marinette: Where are you going?!
Zane: I told you we're visiting my aunt and uncle.
Marinette: Ok have fun.
Zane, Zaria and Zeke back up a little and then hitch a ride on the Skyship.
The Skyship stops over the Tsurugi residence where kagami seems to have been waiting.
Kagami: Off World?
S. Mega Red leaps down.
S. Mega Red: Only for a few days you know the drill right.
He tosses the key and morpher to her, she catches it.
Kagami: Of course Red-San.
S. Mega Red nods and then leaves as kagami looks at her morpher and leaves.
Scene: Interior, Collège Françoise Dupont, in Ms. Bustier's classroom. Adrien is seen calling Marinette.
Marinette's voicemail: (feebly) Leave a message after the beep. Beeeeeep.
