An island known as the Pi'illo Kingdom, where a pillow-like race called the Pi'illos live in. There used to be a king named King Dreamer who used to rule the kingdom before his son, Prince Dreambert ruled it.

He was blessed by the Zeekeeper to become a great ruler for the Pi'illos, but after years of ruling and protecting everyone in the kingdom, he sadly passed away after sacrificing himself by freezing both him and his high mage, Dreamcaster into a huge chunk of ice under the island... what was the reason? The reason will be told now.

Dreamcaster, now named Grimmer, tried to take over the kingdom by trying to get to the Zeekeeper and try to take control of the deity, but failed after the king's knight, Nova and the bedsmith, Craftnap, weakened her before the king face her himself. After, a couple of hits and losing a lot of energy, his last resort is just to freeze Grimmer's heart and his soul into a giant ice chunk under the island.
It was a great sacrifice, the Pi'illos would make a special day celebrating the downfall of Grimmer and thanking Dreamer for saving the kingdom. Dreambert didn't really like celebrating it with others, he would sometimes just walk to his father's gravestone and spend the day there, thanking him and the two Pi'illos who fought beside him.
It was hard for Dreambert ruling a whole kingdom without his father's help or advice, he's not doing this alone though. He has a friend who's in the same situation, but instead of ruling a kingdom, it's actually knighthood. Nitelight is his close friend, a life long friend who was still training to be a knight and protector of both the kingdom and the prince.
Nitelight's father was Nova, he passed away in the battle with two other Pi'illos and Grimmer, he was also a knight that's always by the king's side. Nitelight's whole family bloodline is to protect the kingdom and it's ruler, the only tasks a knight who was blessed by the Zeekeeper has to pay attention to. Nitelight has trouble with that because of his feelings, he will sometimes or always push them away from him and ignore them just to protect the kingdom and the prince...
