Chapter 11
The Black Market
Sebastian

Song: dream is collapsing by Hans Zimmer (or literally any pirate sounding song)

Canon fire flys overhead barely missing the ships main mast, Sebastian stays squatted on the deck as the deck tips violently to the side with the force of the cannonballs ripping through its hull. Jordan and Thomas almost go overboard as they grip the railing their feet dangling close to the water, Sebastian watches in awe as a gust of wind rushes past his face. Beneath Jordan's feet a large gust of wind pushes the water back, she grunts in effort and becomes a force pushing the ship back up right.

As the ship rocks back into the place she takes off like a whirl of smoke moving so fast Sebastian's eyes can keep up with her form. Darcy straightens up beside him "I've got no weapon" Sebastian pointed downwards "below deck left side of the hull, grab something and be quick about it."

Darcy rolled his eyes and disappeared below deck, Gray gave Sebastian a quizzical look, he shook his lead, he'll explain the Darcy situation later. Jordan landed beside them huffing "what the hell is going on?"

Gray gave a nervous smile "first of all, lovely to meet you. Secondly, I believe that would be my doing" he pointed to the horizon; clouds gather obscuring the ship that blew holes into his. But slowly a large black shadow cuts through the mist, the shadow only grows in size as the sun reveals its full form.

The ship was dark and dirty, old in design and massive in size. It looked like a city, a moving kingdom on water. Multiple stories of half-done platforms and shacks they called houses. It took on an odd oval shape, set up like an arena at its centre it's hollow with the exception of a large net. Like a trampoline made for people and creatures to fight. Along the outside was the first ring, odd foods and entertainment of many kinds. The second ring was the the black market, where the trade and slavery of mortals and creatures alike was run. The third circle was all defence and weaponry. Finally, the top highest point was where the real deals were made, the rare stuff is traded their to the highest bidder. All of this combined into multiple sections that split into their own ships, it was hell on the ocean something every other pirate, marine, and fisher avoided at all costs, and they were heading straight for them.

Sebastian knew the name, 'The Nest' his eyes glared down at Gray "you brought The Nest here!? Are you insane!?"

Gray blabbered almost knocking into the crew as they rushed around carrying out the orders Leo called from the head of them ship "they were hunting my friend! Besides someone has to teach them a lesson"

"Friend?" Abert came up deck with Nay-Dean following behind him, when his eyes found the enemy ship they widened "they've found me!" He scattered along the deck like a crab.

"Sitara! Sitara where the blooming hells are you?" The little spirit flew out of his pocket, even from here Sebastian could see the frown on her face. Abert suddenly clammed a jar over her "nice knowing you!" He said and made a run for the ships side, Thomas snagged his collar lifting him up off the floor.

He plopped him down in front of them, Sebastian placed his hands on his knees and gave Abert a tight smile "why would they be after you?" Abert gave a nervous looked "Sebastian, buddy, come on, it's like my job to save creatures you don't think I'm not on their radar? Because I am! Very much am."

Sebastian groaned and Nay-Dean sighed "who's this friend you were talking about?" Gray brightened "yes right" he runs to the rails. The Nest has momentarily ceased its fire and has yet to raise a red flag so they're in the green light for now.
