The Stolen Jewel

Chapter 10

Ellie's dad came but I could barely recognize him. He had a beard and a bushier mustace and he wore a 70's hat. Not bad for an undercover police. I don't know who else was a police because they blended in.
"Let's order something while we wait." Roxy said.
"Ok." We said standing up.
"I'll take a chicken and rice bowl." I ordered.
"And I'll have some sushi." Ellie said.
"I'll have the steak bowl with vegetables." Roxy said.
"And I'll have just the steak bowl."Elizabeth said.
" That will be $40.75 please." The cashier said.
"Ok." I said pulling out my debit card.
"Thank you and enjoy!" The cashier said.
"We will!" Elizabeth said.
We headed to the table and we were half way through eating when Cooper got there.
"Hello girls." Cooper said but a John.
"Hi did you find anything?" Ellie said.
"Yes we found that the jewel was by the jewelry store so they must of dropped it." He said.
"Oh so did you find who did it?" I said.
"Yes his name was Connor Carlson."
"Ya right." Roxy whispered.
"Oh well did you capture him?" Elizabeth said our code name.
I shook my head for 'false alarm.'
"No he left to early for us to get him." Cooper said.
"Oh what solution did you need yesterday?" Ellie pressed.
"Oh we needed some flashlights for our basement." He said.
"Who's we?" I pressed even harder.
"You know what..." He said standing up to leave, "That's none of your business.
"Oh ya Cooper Harrison you've been caught." I yelled causing everyone in the food court to look at us.
"I'm not him!" He said charging at me.
"Oh ya prove it!" I said.
He punched me on my arm and then tripped me with his foot.
"Ow!" I yelled.
But I had backup. Roxy grabbed his arms and put them behind his back, but he kneed her and she fell down then Ellie tried to punch him in the stomach, but he blocked it and kicked her legs and punched her on the cheek. "Help!" Ellie called out.
"I'll get him." Elizabeth said running at him and stepping on his foot and punched him on his eye. Then she pushed him into the table. But he got up and came running at her and grabbed her leg and twirled her around. The police came and tackled him down, but then Kendale came and helped but all four of us would try to get her from helping.
We headed toward her to give her what she deserved. We all did a great job because Ellie punched her leg and I kicked her shins so she'd fall. Roxy grabbed her arms and put them in a position where she could move them at all and Elizabeth grabbed a napkin and put it in her mouth. I ran to get a police for handcuffs. Then I latched them on and Kendale was escorted out if the food court right to the police car.
"And that's how you capture a bad guy well girl properly." Elizabeth said turning around.
"I told you I'd have some comeback alright!" Roxy said.
"Now whoever faces us will never win!" I said.
"We had some pretty awesome moves." Ellie said, "I still can't believe we did that!"
"Kendale serves you right for trying to stay on Cooper's team!" Roxy said.
"Well now you have a couple years to remember those words." I said.
We all started laughing.

Once we got inside Copper was on the floor yelling. And everyone in the food court was gone and now the newsman were there.
"Breaking news, Cooper Harrison has escaped prison and has stolen an expensive necklace from the jewelry store at beach side mall. He was just captured from the help of four teenage girls. How do you fell that you helped capture this man?"
" I fell amazing I still can't believe we did it!" Ellie said smiling.
"I do you are very talented young girls." The reporter said.
"I hope he never trys again, but if he does you know who to call." Roxy said.
"I'm so glad that we didn't get that hurt." I said.
"Me too. All we have are a few bruises and blood scars." Elizabeth said.
"Well I'm glad you girls are alright!" The reporter said,"Do you know if anyone if anyone else was in this?"
"Actually yes we just put Kendale, Cooper's servant, in the police car." I said.
"Wow, did you do by yourself?"
"Yes." We said in unison.
"That's amazing." The reported said.
"Thank you." Elizabeth said.

Once Ellie's dad got Cooper in the police car, he had to talk to the reporter and all that stuff then we finally left to go to the house.
When we got there my mom said she sasaw the whole fight on TV. And she said she saw the interview of us on it too.
She said that it's one of the most talked about story. We were very surprised.
"Wow I don't believe it!" Roxy said.
"I know I can't either." Ellie said.
"Well if you girls need something to do next time tell me and we'll find something else to do besides getting captured and fighting and all the stuff you did last night."
"Ok." We said laughing.
