Rocktop loses both Carrier and Sire before his 7th Creation Day and he comes really close to Shadowhide. He and Shadow spend every waking minute together and Shadow is always being a support pillar to help his grieving friend. Rocktop joins Shadow, Ironhide and Cyber's family, but he likes Shadow and speaks to his crushes parental units before Cyber then passes away.

Rocktop helps his crush with his loss and starts showing feelings toward him.

Rocktop never leaves Shadows side.
He already lost his Sire and Carrier, and soon Ironhide passes away and the two younglings are left with the rest of the crew.

Rocktop loses himself to Highgrade and other unhealthy substances after he loses everyone he loves, knowing that in time, he would soon lose Shadowhide.
