The matron wasn't happy with what Harry had said this place in her eyes was clean and tidy even with so many ungrateful brats running around that she just couldn't be asked to keep doing it and so she left it the way it was
She has a no care attitude Harry thought to himself as he followed her in and into her office which was just as bad as the hallway that he had seen
"So what are you looking for we have some perfect candidates Ridley he's 11 and is a perfect and sweet boy helps me keep the younger children in line, blonde with the most beautiful blue eyes, then we have Sammy oh I mean Samuel again 11, ginger with blue eyes and friends with Ridley I would suggest they go together..." she looked up but Harry didn't seem interested in the two
"Ok not those two then what about Michael and Daniel they are 8 and are twins both with brown hair and eyes they are shy but I know for a fact they they would love a loving home they have been with us for 5 years now their parents couldn't look after then any longer due to drugs" again Harry wasn't interested at all
She went through so many names Arthur 9, Ezra 12, David 7, Romeo 3, Garrison George and Giovanni triplets all 6 but Harry turned them all down making her sigh
"Sadly to say that those are the only boys that we have in the orphanage at the time, sorry about wa..." she didn't continue as shouting and screaming was heard and so she left "excuse me I have to deal with this"
Harry watched as she went he knew that the sound was coming from Severus he just knew it and it was breaking his heart
"You bloody Freaks look what you've done again! my lovely clean floor! no dinner for either of you!" she was about to him them when Harry grabbed her arm
"Enough! they have done nothing to you and you dare hit children when I can plainly see that they have done nothing wrong and it looks like they are scared of you and it appears to be Ridley and Samuel that are bullying them, these two boys appear to be no older than 5 if that" he turned his Avada Kedavra green eyes on the two older boys
"Want to tell me what happened boys..?"
They looked at him and paled as they saw Solomon appear and hiss at them this made Tom look up and then back to Severus who was hiding behind him scared
Ridley looked and sneered "they started it they walked in front of me I had to teach them a lesson auntie lets me" he looked proud of himself when he said it Samuel nodded along it appeared that this boy Ridley was a Dudley and Samuel a Piers of all things
"Well then listen I think two 11 year olds picking on children half their age is disgusting and here I was thinking of adopting you but it appears you have stirred up bad memories for me and so I won't think I will but to save the two here..." points to Tom and Severus "...are in much more need of a loving home then you two"
"Hey that's no fair auntie says that I won't have to stay here anymore and that I will be adopted and you will be the one to do so!" he stomped his foot like a toddler
"No young man I don't have to do a thing and as you are a bully I don't think you being under my roof would be a good thing I can tell from the way you are acting that you are a waste of my time, you think you run this place as you are the nephew to our dear matron I have seen the resemblance to her as well as Samuel you two are cousins if I ever saw one and I grew up with my cousin... no I think I will take these two little ones instead"
"You want those blasted freaks! you're crazy and I know crazy as you have a snake on you and they are disgusting" said Samuel to Harry but when Harry turned to him he went pale and wet himself there and then
"SAMMY! look what you two ungrateful little Freaks did to my precious baby boy, everything bad happens when you two Freaks are around" again she went to hit them but this time Solomon lashed out
"I wouldn't come any closer to these two boys they are now mine I will adopt them right now so then I can get out of here right away plus I have also seen that this orphanage is up for a review and I will make sure that it happens without anyone being bribed like it seems to be" he took Tom and Severus' hands making both boys flinch so he got into his knees
"It's ok boy's can you tell me your names?"
Tom looked unsure and wanted to keep Severus behind him and so he acted tough
"Why should we? we could of handled them!"
"No, no I don't think you could, you look so hurt" he touched his cheek were there was a massive bruise from the last time Ridley and his friends has sort them out of bully and resorted to violence to get their own way and hit Tom hard enough to bruise but when he went to complain about it the matron didn't care and was hugging a 'crying' Ridley who was making up such a sob story that again Tom was hit
"S....Sev.....Severus my name is Severus and he's Tom my brother" said a shy and quiet voice of Severus
"Hello to you Severus, I'm Errikos would you like to come home with me and of course Tom is coming as well" he smiled
"Home? you want us?" asked Tom holding Severus' hand tightly not enough to hurt mind you but he wanted it for reassurance more than anything
"Yes I would love to have you two as my sons"
"Why we are nothing but Freaks our own parents didn't want us! our mother died giving birth to us and no one cared enough and let us get bullied day in day out!" cried Tom
"Tommy..." was all Severus could say before Tom was hugging him both ended up crying
The matron huffed "if you want the brats be my guest just sign the blasted paperwork and get out I don't care what you do with the freaks but hurry up and leave already" she threw the paper work at Harry and left to go to her office not caring
He took the paperwork and took hold of the boys hands and brought them over to a sofa and sat down and started to fill everything out both boys watched as he did they didn't want to be left alone just in case Ridley and Samuel came close
"Don't worry boys Solomon is on guard, he's my pet snake" he pointed to the snake by the door as Ridley tried to come in would hiss at the child "he won't hurt anyone unless I tell him to that's all and I've told him not to"
"You can talk to him?" Tom was shocked
"Yes it's a very special gift that I have and he's very protective"
"Cool" said both boys to him and followed him once the paper work was done headed to the office with Harry Solomon was behind them so then nothing could happen
Harry gave her the paper work an pulled out his wand it was different now it was Acacia with Thestral hair and Basilisk fang and venom it was extremely loyal to him the matron wondered what was going on and he cast a non verbal spell at her to forget that he and the boys were ever here but the paper work would show that there had once been two boys but she wouldn't be able to read their names
"Come along Tom Severus lets go home now" he took their hands again and left the orphanage behind them
