Regulus woke up and groaned to crying.... soft crying and it wasn't crying of Aqua so who was crying but better than that where the fuck was he it was bloody pitch black and no window around so no light to look around and he wasn't old enough for a wand or anything
"Hello?" he said to the room and the soft crying stopped for a moment and then it started up again but this time it was more balling of tears and he thought he knew this crying he had heard it before but where
"Hello are you ok?" he asked again
"Reggie?" said a soft voice to him and then he knew it, it was Amalia Greengrass
"Ami?" he asked
"REGGIE!! where are we?"
"I have no idea" he slowly made his way over to her, thank Merlin she was on the other side of the small room they had been placed in he managed to get there and sit down
"We'll be alright Ami I know we will be my parents will find us" he said to her as he held her close to him in a sort of big brother hug
"Reggie it's your mother... she took us.... she's here"
"What that idiot?! after all these years and the stupid letters to me which Papa takes as there is always spells and potions on them and he told me that it was too dangerous I even wrote her a letter to stop, Amalia I'm so sorry you've got caught up in this..." he hung his head and she just rubbed his head
"Reg it's ok really yes I hurt but still..."
"I'm so sorry..."
Amalia smiled up at him even though they couldn't see each other both were comforted by each other somehow that was broken...
Wulburga came in smiling the lights came on when they sensed her weaken magic which she was grateful for in these times so then she could have her son
"Ah look at the little love birds... alas mummy dearest here has to take her sweet baby boy back no girl can have him even if there are betrothed to him... his mummy needs him more than anything other woman in his life" she walked over and ripped Amalia off Regulus by her hair and threw her across the room and hearing a satisfying whack as Amalia hit the wall she smiled
"Now that the bitch is gone mummy can finally have her baby boy once and for all" she took him by the shoulder and lead him out making sure he didn't see Amalia's unconscious form blood coming from her head
Wulburga lead him to a completely run down room it smelt badly and he wished he could cover his mouth but she had made sure that his arms were at his sides at all times
"Mummy's handsome baby boy is finally with mummy at last and mummy won't let you go I promise you know baby boy, my shining light" she sat down while she let him stand for a moment to have a look at what he was wearing
"Tsk tsk my shining light those clothes are beneath you as Heir -----, your brother will never be Lord ----- and once you baby boy get me back into the family I will become Lady ----- and you will be Lord ----- we will run House ----- forever!" and she burst out in hysterical laughter making Regulus wonder what had happened to his mother over the past 6 years
Yes he knew about how insane the Black family could be he had seen it first hand as a child, yes he was still a child but he had only seen it through child like innocence as his own mother abused him and his older brother, he had seen some in his older cousin Bellatrix but she was getting help from her aunts and uncles and was seeing a Mind Healer after all she was a sweet girl if you got passed her quirks
She made him sit down in front of her and 'tea' arrived she was after all hopeless at doing anything herself with or without magic
"Mummy's precious baby boy drink please it's mummy special own blend and I know you'll like it I tried my best" she smiled and drunk it even paling at the taste it was awful
He looked at her and then at the cup he didn't want to drink it at all
"I'll have water please" he looked at her straight in the eye when he said that but she didn't back down
"No no baby boy mummy made this blend just for you please drink it ok" and she took another sip she wanted to spit it out but this was all she could afford and make without magic so she would put up with it all
"Just water mother" he hated the way he said that but if he called her that she might listen to him
"Ok ok baby boy whatever mummy's precious wants" and she went to get some water
He looked around and saw that they were in a run down cottage you could smell and see the damp and mould had his mother been living here since she was cast out all those years ago? had grandfather really let her stay like this?
Had he given her help but she denied it all she was a woman of the Black family, wait she couldn't say the Black family name meaning she was not excepted into the family by any of the living Black members and the only way...
No fucking way she wanted back into the family but he knew from his family history that he loved but also hated that the only way back into the family was to have all of the living members agree to it all and he was the youngest....
...no Aqua was!!! nothing could be done for the bitch until Aqua reached the age of 13! and she was only a few months old at that! the children were never allowed to participate in a ritual like that until they were 13 as it was too dangerous to say the least
Wulburga came back with the dirty water he sighed it was the only thing there and he did hope that Amalia was ok in that dark room on her own he really hoped that she was
"Mother what about Amalia?"
"Who?" she gave him the water and sat down huffing such labour was beneath her
"Amalia Greengrass the girl in the other room"
"Oh her.... well she's here for a reason baby boy I need her"
"For what though...." he was slapped across the face sending him straight to the floor with the force of the slap
"Never ask what I am doing you are nothing but a baby, mummy knows best remember when you were younger? mummy always wanted what was best from her precious" she walked over to him and pulled him up by his hair
"Tsk tsk this hair will have to go no son of mine will have long hair" she pulled hard making him wince in pain
"Well that stupid noise will have to stop you have become weak Regulus when you were 3 you were much stronger and didn't make stupid noises like this being with that Half Blood disgusting freak has made you weak just like your father and brother, nothing but weakness in the House of -----!" she threw him down onto the floor which resulted in a broken nose
"Oh look what you have gone and done now you've hurt you poor handsome face" she went right into mama bear mode it was a complete 180 she helped stop the bleeding and hugged him
"Mummy is sorry baby boy but you have to listen to mummy ok remember listen to mummy"
As she helped him up and into the chair once more the door opened and in stepped one Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore.......
