A whole week had passed.

And a lot happened in that week, but if one didn't look closely they wouldn't realize. For instance, Flora deleted the Avengers group chat, which only had her, Demetri and Chris in it. She and Sam were also back to their normal, teasing each other and fangirling over how cool Eagle Fangs karate was. Calling off the revenge mission wasn't that difficult, Demetri agreed in a heartbeat as he was stressed about school, karate, and what-ifs about Yasmin finding some aussie dude and Flora found it ridiculous because Yasmin seemed so whipped about him.

Fudge had his first ever haircut or was it furcut? Flora almost stabbed her eyeball out while doing her makeup, when Eli jump-scared her even though it was unintentional.

She went to the dojo two other days that week, and spent the rest of the five days watching Violet Evergarden, Your Lie In April and Orange. Alan did have amazing anime choices because she was crying every twenty minutes. She also realized how much she related to Kaori Miyazono.

Flora went to an Eagle Fang practice session and by sniffing the air something seemed fishy between Johnny and Miguel's mum when Carmen dropped Miguel off. There was a female student in that dojo finally, Devon Lee, and Flora immediately loved her.

The Miyagi-Dos along with Flora and Miguel went on a starbucks hangout too, which was originally a study session since it was tough to catch-up with both their studies and karate training altogether. Flora was there just to hangout though. And it ended up being a tragical-comedy because Demetri dared her to flirt with the girl behind the counter and Eli spit his drink all over Demetri's face from the betrayal. Flora assured him that the coast was clear and her eyes were only on him even though a look at the brunette behind the counter made her blush and smile sheepishly .

Eli and Flora were taking babysteps. Or rather Flora was architecting a new mission. Make Eli realize she didn't want better, she wanted him and it wasn't out of pity or some saviour complex to feel like a rom-com lead. And she would get so frustrated when he sent mixed signals. One moment they were holding hands in his car and the next moment they were back in a dude-bro-yo-platonic-but-kind-of-romantic-chaos.

Miguel asked Sam to prom which Sam was telling anyone and everyone who'd listen excitedly. Flora never understood this American thing, if they were dating they were supposed to go together, right?

Demetri promised Flora that if Eli didn't ask her in time he'd take her to prom because Flora would snap everytime someone got asked to prom and he wanted to end such misery.

But before prom, there was the big monster. This one didn't have fangs and claws. Flora would prefer if it did. This one had tree roots. The exams. They were three days away and she wanted to stab her eyeball out for real this time. Apparently, her Gilmore Girls era which was a forever kind of thing made her seek academic validation just to match with the aesthetics. She didn't even want to attend an Ivy league School (which Eli and Demetri were aiming for and they talked about it occasionally) or be the next valedictorian after Demetri graduated.

She wanted to get into a good art school though and apparently you need to have your marks up in high school for that. But at least she had two more years to worry about that. She daydreamt about college, and travelling across states of the US in a ford with friends she didn't have when she was locked away from the outer world because of her terminal condition and now that the flight was cancelled she really wanted all of that.

Michaela Johnson DMed back, one of the leads for the revenge mission. Deep social media search told her Michaela was Kylar's ex and there was a pretty messy split before Michaela switched schools. Flora had asked Michaela if she had any information against Kylar and Michaela wanted to talk in person. It broke her heart to tell the girl she contacted way too late. But reality made her realize she was only sixteen and there wasn't much she could do. Sure, she had a choice, to pick justice over Sam and Eli because Kylar was a horrible person and her mother would always support her. But this time she choose the easy option and ignored the problem like all the suburban people of America.
