so i started my joiner year about four weeks ago and so far things are going great. my teachers all last year told everyone that joiner year is the most important so i'm really just trying to stay on top of things and turn in assessments on time. i have all A's so far and one B so that's good.
anyways this chapters not about assignments lmao, it's about age. so basically i'm 17 and most kids who are joiners are supposed to be 16-17. but the thing is, is that my birthday is on september 24th (which is in 3 days) which means i'm turning 18. and like yes that's exciting and stuff cause like i'm an adult but like, i also hate the fact that i'm older than all the other joiners. i got held back when i was younger so that's why i'm older.
but like i hate when my teachers are like, "how old are you turning?" literally in front of the whole class. like can you fucking—not? and like then the kids around me act differently around me and it's just so stupid. but my friends are all chill about it so like that's cool.
