SCOPOPHOBIA

; the fear of being watched

VIDHYA PoV

"Vidhya" I turn my head to find Goutham . "Hey big bro" we do our signature handshake. "How is Shrisha Anni?" I tease him.(sister-in-law)

"Fantastic " he smiled , a big ass smile on his face though. Shrisha is his girlfriend, she is soo sweet . She was her junior in his old school, now she is doing her medicine in 3 rd year.

"Then what brings you here brother?" I questioned. "Did he speak to you vidhu?" He asks . I looked at him trying to control my tears .

I nod my head, "it's just-." I don't know what to say. He hugged me and I controlled so hard not to cry.

"It's fine vidhu. He will come around so are you going home this weekend?" He questioned. I shook my head, as I thought my brother would be there.

"Hmm" he hummed. "I have class Anna so I will speak to you later!" I said and  left the place . I  entered the class, as it was 5 mins early there was none except me.

I take my seat, at the last like always . I find few students playing in the ground through the window. After a few minutes I heard a foot step , I turn to find a student standing at the entrance

His appearance was quite strange, he had a hoodie . He had a black mask, his eyes black. I turned my attention from him back to the players .

Soon everyone gathered in the class, as usual I was bored and looked outside. After the class completed , I picked my bag then left.

I furrowed as I found him staring at me , that look was creepy as hell. Soon I exited the class and walked towards my other class.

After what felt like hours my classes completed, I went to the cafeteria where my beloved friends would be present.

I quickly went towards them , "hey girls" i sat myself in a chair. "Hey vidhu" they both replied.

"So are you coming to the party?" Kruthika asked me. I looked at the both, "what party?" "It's a collage fresher party or something like that!" Rupa replied.

"You are coming with us vidhu" she said. I nodded my head, even if I protest they both would convince me.

I felt like someone staring at me, I turned to look who was staring . Him! The same boy who stared in the class , the same black mask guy.

I furrowed and looked towards my best friends, they both were discussing about something. I felt his eyes on me but I just didn't want to turn again.

His stare was creepy !

"Ok we should leave since the party starts at 7 pm." Rupa said . We left the cafeteria then reached our hostel.

I changed into my party wear then took my laptop to check emails.

*ring* *ring*

"Hello"

"Ammu Vidhya?" I heard my Athai voice after a long time.

"Athaa ! How are you? How is everyone there?" I enquired.

"All are good da. How are you?. How is studies?" She asked

"Everything is good athai . Then how is work?" She is a professor in our hometown.

"Good da. Then are you coming to hometown for festival?." She questioned.

"Athai.. actually I have some work so I won't be able to come." I replied.

"Don't lie to me dear. I know why you are not willing to come here." As soon she completed her sentence, I sighed.

"You know na Athai . I don't want to -." I couldn't even finish my works just thinking what would happen.

"Vidhu ammu you are coming here . That's final , If anyone has a problem they will have to face me . Please da come home, I have not seen ou since 1 year." She tells.

"Athai I will think about that." I replied

"Ok da. I have to prepare dinner anyways be careful . If there is any problem tell me , study well dear. Bye." She said.

"Bye athai take care" I said and hanged the call.

"Everyone ready to go!" Rupa said as she came out fully dressed in her party wear followed by Kruthika.

"Ha let's get goo!" Rupa yelled and went outside of the room. I looked at Kruthika as we both laughed at her behaviour.

I don't know but I have this odd feeling about this party!

Athai means there are many meanings . Here it means fathers sister.
Ammu is also a pet name.
