Chapter 1~Reincarnated as a cat

**On Call**

"Ayumi are you listening to me?"

"i heard you"

"Good don't bother coming home as today is your brother's birthday i don't care where you go but don't come home"

"Yeah i heard you"

"Good well bye"

**Call ends**

I sighed then hanged up as i looked up at the sky as rain pours, it has been eight years now since i was adopted by the tsukinami family.

When i was five years old my biological father who was a police officer, he died saving his colleague in a raid drug bust.

My biological mother was a nurse and loved to help people, but when she heard the news about my father she became engulfed in grief,

At the age of ten she died and was taken in by my uncle and aunt, but that didn't last long as social services came to take me away due to their drug uses also their gambling.

Then at the age of sixteen my first boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend, and rumours went around in school about how i bullied his girlfriend because i was jealous.

***Flash Back***

"How could you do this to me kaito!"

"Sorry ayumi but i love her more and can't you be happy for me!"

***Flash back scene changes***

"How could you ayumi i knew you hated her but don't you think you went to far!"

There collapsed on the floor sobbing and holding her cheek also water dripping off her, was my ex best friend as whispers began to float from student to the other.

"How could she do that"

"Poor serena.. i think ayumi went to far"

"How heartless.. can she be no wonder she was jealous"

The snickering and giggling that was going around, kaito kneeled down beside serena then hugged her close tightly to him.

At that point i couldn't do nothing but walk away as tears flowed down my cheeks, i wasn't jealous at all but no one believed me at all.

(Why doesn't anyone believe me.. why.. i did nothing wrong..!)

***Flashback ends***

"S.. someone please save my kitten!"

I heard a small boy yelling and snapped into reality, looking over was a scared little kitten without realizing i dropping my things i ran over to the kitten,

As soon i picked it up and held it close to me, i could hear a lorry horn then looked infront of me seeing the bright lights.

***Truck collides***

"Omg someone call the ambulance hurry!!"

"M.. miss are you okay"

"Don't move sweetie ambulance on the way"

"T.. t.. thank you for saving my kitten.. onee- chan.."

I looked over to the young boy who was clutching his kitten and crying, i smiled softly as my vision began to go blurry.

(Ah.. so this is what death feels like..)

"A... a... ayumi! get yourself together.."

(A voice? who is it?)

"I.. i am sorry ayumi.. i am sorry..!"

(Ah.. kaito.. now you care about me.. heh.. if there is a god i hope i can leave this world.. forever..) 

My gasping was getting slower and slower, my vision became more blurry then ever and my eye lids were so heavy i could hardly keep them open anymore then they slowly closed.

"Ayumi dear child wake up"

(Hmm.. who is calling me..?)

I opened my eyes and looked down infront of my dead body, i knew the feeling that i was dead but then a friendly voice called out to me.

"W.. who are you?"

The person who stood infront of me had long white hair, amber gold eyes and was wearing a gold and white robe.

"I am the one who brought your soul here and the creator of life also the watcher"

"Then perhaps are you a god or something"

"Yes i am ayumi i saw everything all the hardships and struggles you had"

I looked around and saw nothing but whiteness, i wanted to ask him if i was in heaven and he was here to take me away.

"No ayumi but your soul will enter a new body and you will live your second life how you want it"

"What do you mean about that?"

"You will be reincarnated into another world filled with magic and swords but will face many hardships but you will find someone you will come to love"

(Love.. heh.. i given up on that)

"You may have given up on it but your heart will open up to that person"

All of a sudden my body began to glow, the god smiled at me then everything went bright all i could hear before i vanished was his voice.

"Ayumi.. dear child live your life to the fullest how you want to"

**Somewhere in the forest east of the alvarez empire birds chirping**

(Ugh my head is killing me)

I opened my eyes with a groan, my body felt heavy like a sack of potatoes to be honest but as soon i managed to get to my feet it felt weird.

(Huh why does my body feel different and where the hell am i?)

Looking around i could see that i was in a forest, but not the one i was unfamiliar with but i could feel the sunlight and the breeze blowing in the air.

(Well now i am awake should i try to find some food and water)

I began to start to go in random location, it still felt weird and why was i walking on all fours and what did that god mean live my life to the fullest.

Continuing through the forest i came across a river with join i quickly ran over to it waiting to the enjoy the freshness but also to be surprised.

(Man i am so thirsty hehehehe a lucky find)

Giggling i stopped then went into the river and bent down to take a sip of the water, until then i saw it my reflection in the water that i was a cat.

(HUH!!! I AM A CAT!!! HOW DID THE HELL THAT HAPPEN!!!)

As i saw my reflection i gasped white ears, white tail, paws and whiskers, small nose it couldn't be i have been reincarnated as a cat.

**Collapses and is gloomy**

(Is this what god meant to live my life to the fullest not as a human but as a cat!?)

"God why a cat! though why couldn't i be reincarnated into a wealthy family or something like in those manga's!"

(Well no point crying about it now it is time to survive **recovered and is determined**)

And that is how i got reincarnated as a cat, so now my soul purpose is to survive in this world also live a peaceful life to the fullest.

But one thing for sure i didn't know is the dangers and challenges that would lurk in this peaceful but dangerous world and the fate that is waiting for me.
