Chapter 9 ~The Curse part 2

(*Pant.. pant* there is to many of them)

One screeched then leaped into the air, it flew down and swiped it's sharp claws at me but i managed to dodge it in time.

(Phew that was a close one)

But then the others began to attack, carefully i dodged them until i managed to create some space between me and them.

(Alright you asshole's take this!)

Like before the crystal on my collar began to glow, then forming like spears of light they pierced through the demon beasts one by one.

(Damn that took alot this time)

Looking up at the sky where there was a crack, more demon winged beasts continued to come through.

(I wonder if kayden is okay?)

I went to search for kayden but then all of a sudden i saw a young male knight, he had light blonde hair and crimson red eyes fighting the demon beasts.

(Wow he is pretty good hey behind you!)

As the knight slayed the last demon beast, another appeared behind him and by the time he turned around he could see the claw swiping down at him.

(Not on my watch!)

I rushed forward then leaped towards the demon beast, managed to clutch onto him i began to bite then claw him.

"Meow meow meow!!!"

The knight came back into reality then leaped into the air, then swinging down his sword as i jumped out of the way it sliced through the demon beast's head as it's body fell to the ground with a thud.

"*Pant pant* I never saw a cat like you before where is your owner?"

"Please someone help us"

"Please help!"

"Looks like there is alot of people still trapped shall we go?"

I nodded and the two of us began to help the remaining people who was still trapped, once everyone was free he began to lead them to safety.

"Oh i want to thank you and introduce myself my name is Lucas nice to meet you"

(Nice to meet you my name is kira even though i am sure you can't understand me)

"It is a pleasure to meet you kira and yes i can understand you"

(Wow really!? finally someone understands me)

Lucas chuckled when we arrived at the safe zone, i could see the relief on people's faces it made me happy.

"MISS KIRA!!!"

My ears perked as i looked around then noticed amy, she ran over then scooped me up hugging me tightly.

"Miss kira i thought you were gone.. hic hic.."

(Oh amy i am sorry if i worried you)

I smiled and nuzzled her shoulder, lucas smiled but then all of a sudden we heard a laughter then a larger demon winged beast appeared.

(Oh geez not again don't these guys give up)

But then all of a sudden i felt a uncomfortable energy, it was the energy i was familiar with i leaped out of amy's arms and headed to where it was.

"Ms please stay back i will defeat this monster"

Lucas raised his sword and got into a fight stance, the demon beast laughed as the two began to fight.

(Kayden please be okay you must be)

My heart was pounding badly and loudly as i ran, for some reason it led me towards the forest following the energy i ran more quicker through the forest until i came upon to a clearing.
