The next day was a normal day at the Fairy Tail guild hall. Well, that was until Mirajane came rushing down the stairs towards Makarov who was taking a sip of hot tea.
"One of the S-Class jobs is missing!" Mirajane announced to the guild. Shock rippled through the guild as Makarov spit out his tea.
"Say what?!" Wakaba gasped. He was sitting with Macao at a table. "One of the jobs from the second floor is missin'?"
"Those jobs up there are S-Class ones. Does anyone know who took off with it?" Macao asked.
"Well, it's either someone really strong or really stupid," Laki added. She was also sitting with the two older men.
"I know." A voice caught everyone's attention from the second floor. "A little blue cat flew up here and ripped it off the board."
"It was Happy?!" Mirajane spun towards Laxus.
"He must have stolen it for Natsu and Lucy!" Wakaba gasped.
"What about Morana?! She's a part of their team as well!" Laki pointed out. Whispers and mummers spread like wildfire throughout the guild.
"They got some nerve taken on an S-Class quest." Alzack mumbles glaring up at the second floor.
"I don't know if I call it nerve, but it's definitely dumb," Bisca added.
"That's a serious breach of the rules. Especially if a Dark Mage was the one who orchestrated this. Hey Gramps! A stunt like that will getcha kicked out of the guild am I right?" Laxus sneered as he glared down at the main floor of the guild hall. "Not like it matters. Those four losers won't make it out alive. If that Dark Mage can't win against the redhead, then there's no way she can take on an S-Class mission."
Mirajane had walked up the stairs to confront the lightning mage. "Laxus, if you knew why didn't you stop them?!"
"Oh lighten up. All I saw was a blue cat flying off with a piece of paper in its mouth trying to act all sneaky. I had no idea that it was Happy. Besides, Natsu's not cleared for S-Class, I never dreamed he'd break the rules." Laxus smirked as he turned to Mirajane. The woman gave him a dark look that made him chuckle, "Hm you haven't given me that look in a while."
"This isn't good. Well, which job was it?" Makarov asked.
Mirajane turned from Laxus, not before keeping her dark glare, "For lifting the curse on Galuna Island."
"What?!" Makarov shouted.
"Galuna Island?!" Wakaba and Macoa shouted.
"Are they Insane?!" Laki gasped.
"They're even dumber than we thought!" Alzack and Bisca shouted.
"But...what would Morana want with a job like that?" Laki asked.
Makarov glared at his grandson, "Laxus! Go and fetch them at once!"
Laxus waved him off, "Yeah right. I got better things to do. And besides, everyone in Fairy Tail is supposed to be able to take care of themselves. Of course, that means the Dark Mage as well, since you let her in, right?"
"I don't care how you feel about Natsu or Morana! The fact is you're the only one who's strong enough to bring Natsu back by force!" Makarov shouted.
"Oh...and not that Dark Mage?" Laxus sneered at his grandfather.
"You don't lay a finger on that girl!" Makarov warned.
Gray stood up from his table, "I'm sorry Master, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree with you."
