You can take one look at him and see that Izuku Midoriya isn't the luckiest of people. But even then, he wouldn't change his life in any way. After telling Kacchan how he felt, he feels like a weight has been lifted off of his shoulders.
The two of them had split ways after, since Kacchan's mom ended up asking him to go over to help her with some stuff, and the blonde had insisted he didn't need to tag along. Izuku doesn't mind, his mind racing too much with thoughts of the future.
Will they be able to hold hands in public and not just call it being friends?
Will they get to go on dates together?
Most of the things they did together when they were friends are going to be changed drastically because it's only been a couple of minutes and Izuku is already freaking out at the thought of introducing Kacchan to his other family members as his boyfriend.
He's so lost in the daze of the previous events that he doesn't notice the big pile of sludge approaching him as he walks into the dark tunnel to get home.
