The Green Ninja

(A/N: Sorry ya'll! I got busy watching a show for the next fanfic teehee, anyways enjoy!)

'When will I reach my true potential?'

"Earth!" Cole yelled, as he snatched his golden scythe onto the deck, the wooden planks shook, causing the phony snake to misstep and fall forward.

Jay then swung his lighting nunchucks around before charging towards another, shouting "Lightning!" and utilizing Spinjitzu to knock another fake away from him.

It was Zane's time to spin his ice shurikens. "Ice!" He exclaimed before leaping into the air and tossing one of the shurikens at the fake snakes, which struck his feet and caused them to freeze.

Finally, it was (Y/N's) time to use their kunai knives. "Wind!" They use the strength of wind oto use their kunai knives to blast the serpent away.

Nya then turned on a brilliant light above the four ninjas, shining down on them and aiding their vision. "Good training" Nya complimented the ninjas, "Your powers are getting stronger" she stated and (Y/N) gave a face from the nice complement ">:3"

"But where's Kai?" (Y/N) asked, and Jay shrugged, "I think I saw him go into Sensei's room." He said and all walked over to the room.

"Oh my lord," (Y/N) snickered as the four ninjas entered the door to their Sensei's room, only to see Kai donning the green ninja suit, "Unlock fire! Uh, fire go! Shoot flames! Oh come on" striking a few battle poses. As Kai began to flex in the mirror, the ninjas couldn't stop laughing, and the four began to laugh uncontrollably at the red ninja.

"Very nice, perhaps if you tried the phrase 'fire dork' maybe it might work" Cole chuckled. Kai then took the green hood off his head, "How long have you all been watching?" He asked very embarrassedly.

"Good amount to see." (Y/N) said and Kai sighed. "Whoaa the Green Ninja suit! It looks so cool!" Jay screamed. "Well, I saw looking for some kind of clue from Sensei and then I found this," Kai explained.

"But you know only he who is foretold to face Lord Garmadon is destined to be the Green Ninja and only he should wear the Green Ninja outfit" Zane scolded. "So Sensei would most likely be very---" Zane continued speaking before Kai abruptly cut him off.

"I know, I know" Kai started, "But I thought if I just tried it on, it might help me see my true potential. It's not fair that you guys have unlocked your cool powers and I still haven't" He finished, and (Y/N) looked at him sympathetically, saying, "It'll be okay Kai, I haven't achieved it yet either."

"Besides Sensei's gone and we don't know when he's coming back." Kai smiled softly at (Y/N) after realizing he wasn't alone in this.

Ironically, they all heard a door open in the distance and a familiar voice a few seconds later. "Hello? I'm home!" Sensei yell out. "Sensei!" They all cheered and dashed towards the bridge. Kai exclaimed and put on his ninja gi.

"Ah, it's so good to be home," Sensei sighed.

"So glad you're back," Zane stated. "Did you bring us anything?" Cole asked.

"Oh Sensei, you have missed a lot. Zane's a Nindroid, Nya's the Mysterious Samurai, Cole's a dancer--" Jay started before Wu cut him off, "Zane is a what?.." He asked. "You've been gone a while. We'll catch you later, but you should know, all of us except for Kai and (Y/N) have discovered our True Potential." Zane told him, and sensei nodded.
