Double Trouble

"Have it your way. Another day, Ninjas. Another day."

The ninjas were teaching Lloyd again the next morning, observing as he attempted to harness his talents to a lightbulb before it exploded, scattering glass on the floor.

"Oh my, not again." (Y/N) made a comment. "Aargh! Stupid light bulb! You're putting too much pressure on me. Let me have one more try." Lloyd huffed, "Ugh, sorry, Lloyd. That was the last light bulb." Kai agreed. Cole then approached the green ninja and gave him a broom. "Clean up, Lloyd. We'll continued training tomorrow." Cole started.

Lloyd moaned as he wielded the broom as a sword, whipping it at a punching bag instead of cleaning. "What am I doing wrong, Sensei Wu? I can't seem to teach him to control his power." Lloyd's broom smacked him on the head, knocking him back, and (Y/N) laughed. "You dare to defy the Green Ninja?!" Lloyd made a threat to the punching bag.

"Patience, Jay. Sometimes the greatest opponent we face is ourselves, and that's especially true of Lloyd. Remember where he came from. He's the son of Lord Garmadon. It's going to take time for him to embrace the light." Wu explained this by placing his hand on his shoulder.

Nya then entered the room, dressed in a sequined gown. "Hey guys." She greeted, "Hey, Nya!" The ninjas said, "Nice dress style." Nya blushed as (Y/N) commended her. "Thank you, uh, wanna come by the autobody shop later?" She asked, and (Y/N) said, "Sure thing, Nya."

"Uh, what you got there?" Jay then inquired, noting Nya was holding a letter. "Oh, um, this letter came for Lloyd." She remarked this while presenting the letter to Wu. "Hmm, it's from Lloyd's old school." Wu hummed, and (Y/N) gave it a glance. "The Darkley School for Bad Boys?" Cole questioned. "Formerly bad boys." Wu corrected, "Since the last time we were there, they've changed to the Darkley School for Great Children." He explained.

"Heh, wait. They've turned good?" Kai asked, surprised. "Hmm, it sas here there's going to be a ceremony." Wu read the letter. "I love ceremonies! That means there's going to be a cake." Cole cheered and (Y/N) chuckled.

"Lloyd's change inspired them. Now they've invited Lloyd to give him an honorary degree in excellence." Wu continued, "Well, that's kind of them. But I recall Lloyd telling me about the school and how the boys put fire ants in his bed." (Y/N) remembered as Lloyd breaking the broom he was meant to sweep with in rage before headbutting the punching bag on the other side of the room. "Are we sure we're talking about the same Lloyd?" Kai asked.

The ninjas then rode the dragon together towards Lloyd's former school. "Whoo-hoo-hoo! Now that we can ride the Dragon, we should get to Darkley's in no time." Jay sang Lloyd while controlling all four dragons. "If Lloyd can get us there in one piece," Kai spoke. "Just be gentle. Any sudden moves can cause him to---" Cole began to coach distracted Lloyd on accident. "Any sudden what?" Lloyd asked pushing on the reins and causing the Dragon to dive down at fast speed, the ninjas shrieking.

"The reins! Let go of the reins!" Cole yelled at Lloyd, who obeyed his commands after safely landing on the ground. "Hehe. At least I'm getting better." Lloyd laughed, and (Y/N) slapped him on the back, saying, "I think you did great kiddo." Lloyd smiled and winked at them.

"All the same, I'll take the reins going home. Just to be safe." Cole mentioned this. Walking through the school's gates, a student who was planting flowers spun around and ran towards Lloyd, hugging him. "Lloyd?" He said, "Uh, Brad?" Lloyd paused, confused. "You came! So good to see you," Brad, the child, stated.
