The Surge

(A/N: YUUHHH SEASON 3)

"The Ultimate battle. The battle that would end all battles. It feels like ages ag. After the Golden Ninja defeated the Overlord, much of was in ruin. It was a time to reflect on our past, and build for our future. Ninjago City soon became new Ninjago City. And it became the center to great technological advancements. But without an enemy to fight, the age of the Ninjas came to an end."

Kai finishes talking, and the scene shifts to a bathroom, where Jay is seen holding a camera in a mirror reflection, and Kai can be heard singing in the shower. Video Kai notices someone outside and pokes his head through the shower curtain, "Hey How about a little privacy, you--" Kai in the video screeches, and the screen goes black.

"Ugh! Seriously?" Kai groans, and a student runs into the classroom. "Come quick! Mr. Zane's on the fritz!" He wailed before (Y/N) dashed into the other room. "I'm tired for this," they grumbled. "Oh dear," They sighed as they saw Zane short out, small sparks flying from him as he bounced on a desk, people clustered around him, chuckling.

Cole and Kai rushed inside the room behind (Y/N), "What's going on here?" Cole quizzed a young girl who was passing. "Brad got an ultra remote from New Ninjago City and it's controlling Mr. Zane." She explained. "Thank you sweetheart," (Y/N) chimed, rubbing the girl's head.

The black and gray ninja then fought their way through a swarm of children to reach Brad, who held the remote. Cole takes it away from him, smashing it and prompting the nindroid to cease. After sitting at the end of the desk, whimpering slightly. "Mr. Cole is the worst," Brad groaned, causing Cole to stare at him. "I heard that." He replied, and the bell rang, causing the kids to hurry out, followed by Cole and Kai, while (Y/N) remained behind.

(Y/N) sits next Zane. "How you doin' Zaney." They sighed. "Not the best, but you here makes it better." Zane's nice remarks made (Y/N) smile. "Nice vest by the way, good-looking." They liked the gray vest he was wearing with small snowflakes better than his blue vest from home. 'Wait, blue vest? What am I thinking of?'

"Thank you kindly (Y/N)," Zane said. "Let's get going." (Y/N) bounced off and extended their arm towards him, "Shall we, sir?" They said jokingly, and Zane got off and took their arm to play along, chuckling. "We shall"

The two went through the hallways of Wu's new academy, which had recently replaced Darkly's institution for bad boys. The two stepped into the lounge, where the other ninjas were already present. Zane looked at (Y/N) beside him, the sun coming through the windows, making (Y/N) gleam in a way.

They are really lovely; everything about them is excellent. He realized that he does love (Y/N), yet there are some drawbacks to this. He's a nindroid, and they're human. Could he stand a chance against his brothers? We're all aware that some people, like him, like the ninja of the wind.

As Zane and (Y/N) entered the room, Jay was looking for his pudding but couldn't find it. "Alright! Who took my pudding cup? My name was clearly written on it," He complained. "I didn't see "Motor Mouth" on it." Cole fired back. "I'm telling the headmaster," Jay complained. "Leave me out of it. I'm on break, too." Wu conveyed, as (Y/N) picks their {favorite drink} and sits on the bench with Zane, who sat silently with his thoughts, clearly about (Y/N).

"Relax Jay, you can have mine." Kai opened his bag and hurled a pudding cup at the blue ninja. "But this isn't cold." Jay cried as he sat on the opposite side of Zane, who activated a switch on his arm and used his finger to freeze the pudding cup.
