Return of the Overlord

Wu and Misako, the ninjas, are trekking through the forest looking for Dr. Julien. As they approached Zane's father, the horns continued to blare in the distance. They approach him, and he turns around, "What was that sound? The horns?" He asked.

"The Celestial Clock has reached zero. Garmadon's ultimate weapon is now operational and the Final Battle between good and evil has but begun." Nodding, Sensei informed. "Now Lloyd must face his father," Misako stated. "Where's Nya?" Dr. Julien questioned, searching for her, and (Y/N) placed a hand on Kai's shoulder. "She's been taken by the Overlord, but we'll get back. At the moment, there are bigger things at stake, including all of Ninjago itself." Wu mentioned.

Jay drew his hood away from his face and said aloud, "Who cares about Ninjago? Nya is gone!" Kai pulled his hood off as well. "And she's my sister. I know her being captured is tough, but she's tougher. Tougher than most of us. We'll see her again."

"Lloyd, your focus gives strength to invoking the power of the Golden Dragon. You cannot lose faith now. Everything rests on your shoulders." Wu spoke to Lloyd. "But Sensei, you saw what happened when I tried to face my father. I-I froze..I can't fight him," Lloyd sighed. "You must. It is written in the scrolls." Wu replied. "Remember, your father is just as scared." Misako came on board. "Then the battle will be decided by who is willing to fight." Wu remarked.

"You won't be alone. I'll be right behind you. You have my Fire." Kai replied as he drew his blade.

"You have my Earth." Cole arrived, clutching his sword.

"And my Ice." Zane nodded.

"And Lightning." Jay adds.

"Don't forget about the Wind," (Y/N) proudly smiled.

"We're all in this together, kid," Cole stated. "What are we waiting for? Let's suit up." Lloyd stated that the team is preparing for fight.

After a while, the team runs towards Garmadon's camp.

Lloyd sat on the ground, trying not to be seen. "Get down, now." He motioned to his companions. "They won't know what hit them." Kai murmured "Time to chop wood," Cole commented.

"Ninja, go!" They yell and break open the gate, discovering that it has been abandoned. "Uh, where the heck is everybody?" Jay asked, perplexed. "Ugh, and here I was all ready to release the thunder." Cole complained. "Well this ain't good," (Y/N) says. "The ultimate weapon is gone. We're too late." Kai muttered as he crossed the bridge and headed over to the vacant camp. "Nya? Nya!"

They all turned their heads as they heard the falcon. "My falcon friend wants to show us something." Zane stated, and the falcon displays the Garmatron's tracks to them. Lloyd gasped, "Woah. That's one big weapon."

"It appears to be heading towards the coast." Zane notified. "But why? Wouldn't he try to use it on us?" Lloyd sought out, turning to Wu. "Not on us. On Ninjago. He always wanted to turn our world into his own image. Now we know how it will be done." Wu explained. "But if he started turning things evil, the balance will shift and allow the Overlord to cross over into our world." Misako added.

Lloyd gives a determined expression and says, "Then we have to make sure that my father never fires that weapon."

They begin to follow the tracks, but Zane comes to a halt when he notices his father panting. "Father!" He expressed his concern. "You go on without me. I'm an inventor, not a fighter. I'll only get in the way." He panted heavily. "But what will you do?" He asked. "I'll be back at the bounty waiting for you to return in one piece, if not, I'll make your wind friend make sure. But don't worry, a part of me will always be with you." Julien gives his son a friendly smile. "Be well, Father." Zane said before running back to his pals.
