The next morning, as usual, Jimin helped Yoongi with cleaning up and getting ready for the day. After that, Yoongi goes to study his daily lessons and all the things he needs to do.

Jimin doesn't stay with him during those times. Instead, he helps around the castle and does the needed work for the prince.

During his last lesson, one of the servants told him that the king announced a battle because someone put up their to a fight. Yoongi was confused and shocked because why would someone put their lives at risk for this ridiculous battle?!

He asked the servant about the person who put their up, but the servant didn't know anything, just that it was going to be an interesting battle.

Yoongi felt a little queasy at that. He finished his lessons for the day and went to eat his lunch. There was no Jimin beside him attending to his needs this time.

Yoongi felt his chest constrict when he asked about him to another servant, and they said that they hadn't seen him today.

Jimin was always around him all the time. Even if he was doing nothing, he was standing beside him almost all the time. But today he wasn't there. He wasn't beside the prince as his personal servant like usual, and it made something ugly twist in Yoongi's stomach.

When Yoongi was with lunch, he hadn't had much appetite when his lover wasn't there, and he was feeling like something bad was about to happen.

Yoongi decided to ignore all those negative feelings and decided to go to the colosseum where the battles were held. He hated going to that place, and now that he was alone, it made him feel more restless.

The prince thought that Jimin might have gotten busy in something, and he would come when he knew about the battle. Yes, that's what is happening. He was convincing himself to believe it and not think about anything negative.

Yoongi greeted his father, the King, and sat in his place beside him on the stage that was lifted up high from the ground to have a better view.

The king had a mysterious glint in his eyes as he greeted Yoongi back and even smiled at him.

Yoongi was feeling more and more nervous as time went by. They sat there as the public started to fill around the ground where the seats were placed for them.

Once everyone was seated, the announcer stood at the front of the stage and started announcing the name of the today's fighter.

"Today's fighter is none other than our Prince Yoongi's personal servant! Park Jimin!!" The crowd erupted into gasps and murmurs hearing that.

Yoongi was frozen in his seat. Did he hear it right? Was it really his Jimin, who was going to fight today? The prince couldn't believe his ears. As the murmurs turned into cheers when the gate to the entrance of the ground opened, Yoongi sat rooted in his seat, his eyes trained on the entrance.

Yoongi was scared to the core that Jimin was fighting in that death ground. The prince really didn't think that Jimin would take his words to heart, but it looks like he did.

Of course, Yoongi said it as a joke, but it turns out that Jimin took it seriously and put up his name to the battle. Yoongi felt his heart beat rapidly in his chest. He was hoping that he heard it wrong.

So when Jimin enters the grounds, claded in armor, Yoongi's breath stutters. He is praying that it wasn't his Jimin. It wasn't his love who was fighting.

But it was his Jimin. And he was going to fight.

The cheers were falling deaf on his ears as his eyes kept stuck on his lover. Yoongi felt his stomach churn, his head spinning as he felt his throat closing up.
