The next day, Tuesday, I was still at the hospital and was eating my breakfast. I texted Jake last night, and this morning, and it said 'Read'....but I got no response.
Later that day I was told that I had a visitor. I knew that it wasn't my parents because they went back home, and were coming back tonight. I hoped deep in my heart that it would be Jake, Clarissa, or any other one of the friends from school, or from my party.
It was indeed someone from my Birthday Party.
Victoria, and a tall man behind her which I guessed was her dad.
She ran over to my bed and hugged me.
"Are you ok? How are you feeling? I ran to get your parents when you fell, and everybody else just kind of stared in shock. Oh, this is my dad by the way."
"Umm, I'm ok I guess." I replied.
Ok, well before I continue telling my story, I'm going to tell you why I, Charlotte, fell backward when I heard that she was Mormon. So, back in the early to mid 1800's, the Mormons were traveling from place to place, because people kept kicking them out. My family, at the time lived in Kirtland, Ohio. The Mormons moved there after living in the NorthEast. My family, hated the Mormons, and were part of the group that kicked them out of Kirtland, and from there they went to Nauvoo, Illinois. Ever since I was little my parents would tell me, that I could never be friends with a Mormon, because they were evil, and were trying to spread their lies around the world. And that's why I fell. Now back to my story cause it gets good.
"Well, we're glad you're okay Charlotte," her dad said, "Victoria has been begging to come and see you." Victoria blushed.
"Oh, well thank you:)," I said, and yes I did just add a smiley face to my story.
Her dad said that he would like to give me a blessing to help me get through this, and that I would be able to go home soon. I was nervous on what my parents would say if they found out. I decided that I wouldn't tell them, because I like Victoria, and I thought I would give it a shot.
"Ok, I'm ready."
He placed some oil on my head, and I have no idea why, then placed his hands on my head. Victoria sat down, smiled, closed her eyes and folded her arms. Mr. Dad, thats what I'm calling him, asked me for my full name, and I gave it. Charlotte Eve Benson. He then started the blessing and asked God to help me get well, and be able to get home soon. When he finished, we talked a little bit, Victoria gave me another hug, gave me a card with a rose, and they left.
I wondered what he did to me because, I never felt so peaceful and happy in my entire life.
