There was a girl, who always wore a necklace that had a picture of a torch, but the flame was a profile of a girls face. She went to my middle school, and she was in seventh grade. She had medium length brown, curly hair and eyes that were a green that reminded me of the forests. Her sense of style was far from mine and confused me. She wore one-piece swimsuits, shorts to her knees, never wore tank tops and only had one piercing in her ear. She never cursed, and a lot of the other girls did. She wouldn't hang out on Sundays, and would always bring up how she couldn't do things because of her "standards". I honestly don't even know what that means. But, I am not exactly smart. I may be Miss. Popular at school, but it's a miracle if I get a C. But as much as I would like to talk about me, I have to tell my story.
