When You Fail Parkour

Hey, NTU (author) here! Just know some things before reading; This is not cannon, in season 5-6, VERY OOC, gore/mentions of gore, passing out, panic attacks, etc, so be prepared for anything. This is for all of the chapters, not just this one. I won't mark the start/end of these things because of time and my stupid brain will forget to so if you are triggered by any of these things, I suggest you leave for your own good or beware. And just note, I normally don't like switching povs a lot through out a single chapter, so it may seem a little different from my other story/ies. Now please enjoy this fanfic!

Edit: This, and the cover, is very old, and I forgot this existed, and I rewrote this to seasons 5-6 to run parallel to Evo.

I also wasn't going to publish this until I finish Freaked cuz I forgot about this, but this actually happens before Freaked, so here you go!

Pause PoV

Me, Etho and Beef were running trying to finish this parkour to get to the last room. Man it hurts to get shoved in the side with pistons and having to balance on those thin end rods, but it's worth it! That feeling of victory after hard work is worth every bit of it. Etho got to the end first with me and Beef tagging right behind him.

'The last room' Beef said under his breath. We have been trying to beat this level for so long, making it to the final room seemed like a dream, but here we are. Everyone stood on a pressure plate and went into a room. As I walked in, I saw that I can see the other two through the glass separating us. But something was wrong.

Very wrong.

Have you get that feeling when you feel like you're invisible. Not the type when people ignore you even though you know you're there. I'm talking about the type when no one can see you.

'Etho?' I heard Beef say. Thats not right! I'm supposed to be in between them, not Etho.

'Wasn't Pause in between us?' I heard Etho call.

'Beef, Etho!' I called but they didn't look at me, instead through me.

Beef PoV

As I walked into the room, I saw Etho through the glass, but not Pause.

'Etho?' I called out as he looked at me.

'Wasn't Pause in between us?' He called through the glass. I knew he was in between us, I went on the left, Pause was in the middle, and Etho was on the right.

'Etho!' I called and he looked at me. My started racing with worry and fear. Then, I heard a scream, Pauses scream. It had to be! No one else can scream that loud! It's almost like when someone shrieks in a cave, and it echos very loudly. The glass shattered and revealed a room in between me and Etho, but Pause wasn't there. I started panicking even more, but couldn't calm down.

'Beef? Beefers you with me bud?' Etho asked, but his voice was drowned by a loud pulse in my ears, making my head throb. I tried to cover my ears, to block out the horrifying noise, but it just got worse the harder I tried. I couldn't think, couldn't see as the world turned blurry, and couldn't stand. All I remember was my legs giving in as I collapsed into the kitsune's arms. Then, everything turned blacker than the void.

Etho PoV

As the glass shattered from Pauses scream, I ran inside, but Pause wasn't there. When I looked away from the room, I saw Beef, who was covering his pointed ears with his hands. Then, he looked up to me, but his eyes, they were blank. Suddenly, his legs gave in as he collapsed into my arms and cut his head with some broken shards of glass.

I started panicking.

I wanted to use my kitsune magic to help him, but these rooms wouldn't let us use any magic to prevent cheating, even healing magic. The only thing I can think of is teleporting to Hermitcraft to get Stress's help. As much as I wanted to finish this game, Beef and Pause are at stake with who knows how much time left...

Stress PoV

Its 1 am when Etho messages me to meet him at the clinic and to get Doc and X. I messaged Doc to get X and then rushed to his base. What I was greeted with wasn't pretty. Etho was holding an unconscious Beef, and they were both covered in fresh, bloody cuts. And worst of all, there was a giant gash on the side of Beef's head with glass sticking out. Etho looked like he was going to pass out any moment, with his shaky legs and paler-than-normal skin, which made me even more nervous.

'Need help?' Someone asked behind me, and I swear, his heavy German accent is recognizable a mile away.

'Doc, X,' I said sternly. 'Doc, get Beef from Etho and get him fresh clothes, X, get Etho to a bed' and they immediately left. When they went to do their task, I messaged Cub (Who helps me with medical stuff like this) and Keralis (Therapist 2.0 and would kill me if I didn't tell him). to come over. As soon as I messaged everyone, I went to get some gloves and tools to get Beef's glass injury dealt with. I told Doc to help X clean Etho up as Cub ran through the door, gasping for air. I told him to get ready so he can help me with Beef. Me and Cub got ready to deal with Beef's injury (I don't want to explain so~~~ time skip to when their done)

Cub PoV

I was fixing the some bits of the ConCorp building when Stress texted me.

Chat;

Stressmonster101 whispered to you: Cub! Get to Etho's base now! No time to explain, just hurry!

As soon as I read the message, I started sprinting to the base to see what's wrong. I know, I know, flying would have been faster but I was flying all day and night to help finish the project. What about an elytra? You can't put an elytra on a sturdy-winged person, so I was just stuck running, and eventually got to the base, out of breath. Stress told me to get gloves on and then we started working on Beef's injury.

(Time skip to when they're done)

I winced in pain after I did the last stitch on Beef's head. I accidentally cut myself with the pair of scissors. I couldn't bandage it because of of where it was on my hand. I also didn't want to be more of a burden to Stress and Doc, so all I could do was put a towel on my cut to prevent blood from getting everywhere. I lost a little bit of blood, but thats the least of my problems. Right?

Word count: 1182

Edit: Again, I very minimally rewrote this to season five-six to run parallel to Evo, so if you already read it, you may need to reread it.
