Chapter 4

~meanwhile~

[Skylar POV]

I wake up to my phone going off. I get out of bed and walk over to my desk and see who the text is from.

From: Your Bestfriend(;

Hey Sky(: i have a surprise for you! You will get a package today and i know you will love it(; no hints<3

I smile at the text. Its Zayn. He is somewhere around the world today. He is the world biggest boy band One Direction. He has a different life now but at least I'm still in it. We broke up and decided being friends was a better idea for us. I quickly reply back.

Kaykay(: miss you loads! xx

I jump back into bed and drift off to sleep with Zayn on my mind.

[Zayn POV]

Kaykay(: miss you loads! xx

I smile at the text she sent back. I miss her so much. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she finds out that I'm the surprise she's going to see today. I lie on my old bed at my mums house in Bradford, it's only 6:00 a.m. I'm sure I'm the only one awake right now. I put my head on my pillow trying to fall back asleep I can't stop thinking about Skylar. I had to break up with her management made me and now I have to go out with this girl named Perrie Edwards from the band Little Mix. (Authors note: guys I don't hate Perrie at all I love zerrie gosh! It's just for story purposes). She's pretty and all but she's missing a little something. I slowly drift back to sleep while thinking of Skylar's reaction when she sees my face at her door later on today.

[Skylar POV]

I wake up and it's 9:30 in the morning. I remembered the texts earlier this morning from Zayn saying I was going to get a package later on in the day. I got out of bed a put on my slippers and walked downstairs to the kitchen to go get some breakfast. I decided to make my self banana pancakes. After I made the third pancake I heard little footsteps coming down the stairs. Must've been my 6 year old brother Luke. I smile when I saw his sleepy little face as he rubs his eyes with his hands.

"Morning Lukester want some banana pancakes?"

His face lit up with a smile.

"Yes please Skylar!"

I giggle and give him a plate with a pancake.

"Want some syrup?"

"Ewwy no thank you!"

I laugh and put the syrup back in the fridge. After we both eat loads of banana pancakes we both went and sat on the couch and watched some cartoons together. It was about 10:45 I decided to go back upstairs and get ready for the day. I quickly hopped into the shower then hopped out and went back into my room to pick out my clothes for the day. I took out a white skirt with a small brown belt, my black floral halter top and a tan coat sweater. I also found a necklace my mother gave to me last Christmas a gold drop necklace. After I got dressed I went into the bathroom to do my hair and makeup. I straighten my long blonde hair and decided to a smokey eyed look for my makeup. I went back downstairs and into the living room where Luke was still watching cartoons.

"Hey Luke you should go upstairs and get ready for today."

"Awww but I don't wanna!"

"I'll take you to the playground?"

"Ok! Ill be down in a minute!"

He ran upstairs all excited to go to the playground that was across the street from our home. He came downstairs all ready to go. I quickly put on my black sandals and I grabbed his hand before walking out the door to go across the street. He played for a long time and it was lunch time now so we went back home and started to make lunch. I just finished making my sandwich and was about to sit down when the doorbell rang. Who's here? We weren't expecting anyone? Then I remembered that Zayn said I was getting a package. I run to the door as I open it my mouth dropped open. All I heard was a voice.

"Hey Sky I missed you so much!"

Zayn...??
