Chapter 10

Hey guys! It's Liz!!

We did NOT FORGET about the story<3 we just took a small break but we are back to update!!

Ryder

I can't believe Lottie replied that she was bringing Brynn along with her. I finally got her to come to my house! I leave my best mates to set everything up and wrack my brain of where I have seen that gentleman with my girl earlier today at the store. I turn on the television and groan as One Direction resumes. My little sister left her movie on and right before I change it I noticed something very interesting. I pause the tv and lookie who I see but the man stealing my girl. Now all I need is to get the dirt on this guy and Brynn will come crawling back to me.

"Amber! Can you come here please?" I shout upstairs to my younger sister.

I get a response shortly after, "Coming!"

She comes bouncing into the room and politely addresses me with a big grin, "Yes?"

"Who is that tall guy on the right?" I ask pointing to the mysterious girlfriend thief.

"Thats Louis Tomlinson. Why?"

"No reason. Are you sleeping over Auntie's tonight?"

"Yep! I'm going to a tea party tomorrow with cousin Sarah."

"Alright well have fun kiddo."

I walk out of the family room and head downstairs to my room. I open my laptop and google this Louis guy. I get millions of results and notice something very eye catching.

I click on the link and it leads me to a website with a video attached. I watch the first few minutes and get bored quickly. I minimize the video and spot a name in small print on the bottom of the story. 'Interviewed by: Robby Walters' I can't believe my luck and just so happen to be good pals with Rob. I call him up needing him to repay me by doing a small favor. I am suddenly in such an exceptional mood and can't wait for this party to happen.

Brynn

We head into the party and I start to feel self conscious seeing all these other people. I feel a hand reach down and grab mine causing me to get butterflies. I look over to Lou and I feel better just by seeing his smile. I am determined to have a great night and no one will ruin it for me.

Ryder

The party is starting to get going and all I can do is scan the guests to find her. She has to come and be here tonight. I see this stunning young girl walk in with a simple yet eye catching outfit on and I keep checking out this beauty until I reach her face. My breath becomes hitched in my throat and I freeze in place. Once I regain control of my body I smile and walk over to her.

"Hi." I say breathlessly as if I just ran a marathon.

"Hey. Thanks for inviting us." She flashes a smile and my heart skips a beat.

"I hope you made it over okay?"

"Yeah it was fine." I look down monetarily and see she has her right hand intertwined with another hand that isn't mine, Lottie's, and it certainly is not feminine. I look up the other hand and see another person there that I hadn't previously noticed.

"How are ya?" I get asked by a smirking pop star.

"Fine for now. I hope you enjoy the party." I walk away to find my best friend and put my plan into action. Brynn, you will be my girlfriend.

Brynn

So maybe going to a party isn't that bad. I'm actually having a really great time with Lou. A song ends and I feel someone tap my left shoulder causing me to turn around and see who it is. I turn to see Ross from my english class. He leans over to my ear and tells me that Lottie wants to see me. He tells me she is upstairs and that is urgent. I nod in response and follow him with Lou right behind me. We reach the door that Lottie is in and I tell Lou to let me check on her alone. He agrees and says he has to go to the car real quick and will be right back. I watch him walk away and open the door to the room. I walk in and close the door behind me and notice quickly that something isn't quite right. First of all Lottie was no where to be found in this room and secondly it was obviously Ryder's room. I am deciding to leave and find Lou when the door opens up and Ryder walks in and closes the door behind him. To say I felt trapped was an understatement.

"Hey Brynn, you look really pretty tonight."

"Thanks Ryder, um have you seen Lottie?" I try to remain calm and brainstorm how to exit without dying at this point. Ryder is kind of that sweet creepy guy and I am getting very concerned right about now.

"No I haven't but it's a good thing I caught you, I wanted to show you something I found. I know you will love it." He walks over to his computer desk and opens up a laptop.

"Ryder I don't have time for this right now."

"Please. Just watch this and I will leave you alone for the rest of the night I promise. I just think you need to see this."

I can see his honesty and pleading through his eyes and besides what does he need to show me anyways. "Fine. What is it?"

"Here just sit and watch."

I take a seat and see an interview from a month ago with the boys. I haven't seen this part before, it almost looks like the outtakes of it and I can't believe I am even watching this.

Interviewer: "So Louis, how are things with the girlfriend?"

Louis: "Things are great. We couldn't be happier." He says with a fake smile I can see right through.

Interviewer: "What about back home? Was there ever a special lady before the tour and X Factor?"

Louis: *laughing* "Oh god no."

Harry: "What about that brunette that you texted all the time during X Factor?"

Louis: "Oh that was nothing. Like my little sister, definitely not romantic interest with her or anything."

Niall: "I thought she was your girlfriend?"

Louis: "Nope. Just Eleanor. Moving on."

The clip ends there and all I can feel is the knife sticking out of my back from what i just watched. I wipe away the tears that couldn't hold back and turn to face Ryder. I somehow find my voice and muster up to speak a few words without cracking.

"Excuse me, I need to leave."

"Brynn I-"

"-don't. Please."

I stand up and exit Ryder's room leaving him there and take a right avoiding the stairs I entered in on. I find another set of stairs and walk down them. I go outside and call my mom and ask her to pick me up from an ice cream store a few minutes away. I walk to the ice cream store and text Lottie on the way there that I wasn't feeling good and went home. I turn my phone off not wanting to hear from anyone right now. I sit in the ice cream store for a few minutes until my mom pulls up. I get in the car and head home. I can't wait to get in bed after this long day.
