Chapter 3

~Saturday Morning~

[Brynn]

I walk into Lottie's house not even bothering to knock because shes expecting me and its basically my second home so no one will mind anyways. I go straight up to her room and find her still bundled up in her confuters fast asleep. Being the best friend i am, i run and jump on top of her and wake her up.  

"Hey!" 

"Hey sleeping beauty." I grin while shes glares at me.  

"No really thanks, i didn't need sleep anyways." She states sarcastically.  

"Im always looking out for you Pumpkin. Now why i did i have to get here so early?!"  

"Oh, well i wanted to go to the mall and i wanted to do make overs tonight for fun." 

" Well, then i suggest you wake up and get ready so we can go."  

With that she jumps out of bed runs to her closet and is ready in ten minutes. We arrive at the mall in half an hour beyond excited to shop. Lottie insists on me having the perfect outfit for tonight even though i don't know what is going on later. We shop for three hours and decide its time to go home and get ready.  

Lottie puts on her new outfit while i slightly curl my chocolate brown hair. She comes out of her bathroom and i cant believe how gorgeous she looks. She has a long sleeve white lace shirt paired with a peach skirt that meets her mid thigh and tops it off with a matching peach beanie. She leaves her blonde hair down and natural and has on only a little make up. She gives me a bag with my outfit and i can only imagine what she picked out for me. I go into her bathroom and pull out the brand new outfit and swear I'm in love with what she picked out. I pull on the short black spandex to go under my new grey short shorts making my legs look like they go on forever. Next i pull out a creme blouse with black buttons going down the middle and a black belt to go over it and finally a small black lace sweater. I walk out and she hands me two necklaces, one with a thin chain and an oval locket on the end, and a medium sized silver chain. She steps back and looks at me and stands there with her mouth open.  

"Well say something!" I finally shout getting nervous at how i look.  

"Brynn, you looks absolutely stunning. I don't know what to say, your breath taking."  

"Stop hitting on me and toss me my make up bag would you." I slightly blush but hide it so she can't see. If Lottie saw me blush the mall would become an annual thing every weekend, no one has that kind of money. I touch up my make up from earlier and leave the smokey eye look and decide whatever we are doing i look good enough.  

"So what exactly do we do now?" 

"We wait for dinner." She says like our whole day was spent in bed and no big deal.  

"Wait we just got all ready for dinner with your family?" I ask confused as to why we spent the whole day getting ready. 

"Yep" 

"Lottie! Brynn! Hes here!" Her mom yells up the stairs.  

"Lottie, who's here?"  

"Surprise! Lou is home!"  

And i swear my heart just stopped after i heard that sentence.
