Chapter 12

[Skylars POV]

I woke up with a text from Zayn. "Morning beautiful! :) just wanted to let you know to get ready remember that I'm taking you somewhere today :) I'll be there to pick you up 'round 11:30 cya then sweets :) <3". I smiled and replied with "Morning Zayn hah okay see you then :) <3". I got out of bed and went downstairs to eat a quick breakfast. Mom was up, but Luke was still sleeping.

"Morning mom. I'm just gonna have a quick breakfast and get ready Zayn said he was going to take me somewhere today."

"Morning Sky. Oh alright I hope you have fun today I took the day off work so I could watch Luke."

"Okay...do you know where Zayn is taking me..? You sound like you do?"

"Noooo I don't know a thing."

"Mhmm sure."

I eat some cereal and go back upstairs to get ready. My phone went off again it was Zayn. "Oh yes by the way doesn't matter what you wear :)". I replied with "okay hah I was wondering thank you :)". I went into the bathroom to take a shower and brush my teeth. I get out of the shower and check the time it's only 10:15. I go to my room and go to pick out my clothes. I chose a grey beanie, black skinny jeans, black vans, and a grey flowy long sleeved shirt that says 'make love'. I went back to the bathroom to do my hair and decided not to wear makeup today. I dried my hair and put some lights curls in it. Went back to my room and got dressed. I got another message from Zayn. "Hey Sky I'm on my way. Almost there actually ha :) see you soon". I replied with "okay haha can't wait :)". I put my shoes on as I hear a beep outside. I ran downstairs kissed mom and Luke goodbye.

[Zayns POV]

I got to her house and beeped for her a couple times. Then I saw her come running out of the house and hop in my car. I hugged her and kissed her cheek, she smiled.

"So where is this special place we are going to Zayn? Hmm?"

"Well it's a bit far away, but I'm taking you. You'll see when we get there."

"Grrr Zayn wish you'd tell me."

"Haha you'll see! I like your outfit today Sky, you look beautiful."

"Hah thanks Zayn."

We start driving from her house and get on the roads. Drove on the highway for awhile chatting and laughing and singing along to our favorite songs. After an hour we finally got to Liverpool. She still doesn't know I'm taking her to her favorite restaurant. First I'm taking her walking around the mall till 5. We park the car and start walking around the mall going into her favorite stores. She bought a few shirts and things. We went into some of my stores too. She picked out a few things for me. She's so cute I missed doing this with her. It's about 5 so we left the mall and started driving to the restaurant. She still doesn't know. We get in the parking lot and her face lit up with happiness. All I could do is smile and laugh.

"Zayn oh my god! You brought me to my favorite restaurant?! The Boat House Diner!! Oh my god! But they're always filled with reservations! How'd you get it!?"

"Haha I made a reservation yesterday. So you like the surprise?"

"Like it?! I love it!!"

She hugged me and we walked inside to our table. We got our drinks and some bread while we wait to order.

"Hi I'd like the pasta please. Zayn what are you getting?"

"Hmm I'm gonna have the samosas please."

"Alright I'll be back to check on your drinks in awhile."

"You and your samosas hah."

"What they're good haha my favorite!"

We laugh and talk and finally get our food to start eating. We're having a good time till someone comes over to our table.
