Chapter 6

[Skylar POV]

Luke runs and jumps into Zayn's arms.

"ZAYN!"

"Hey little man! I missed ya!"

"Zayn?? Is it really you?"

"Yes Sky course it's really me!"

"Oh my god I missed you so much!"

He puts Luke down and I run into his arms and hug him for what seems like forever. We let go of each other finally.

"So Sky you like your package? Hah?"

"Like it? I love it!"

I say in total excitement that he's actually here. As he laughs from how excited I am to see him. I grab his hand and drag him to the couch and sit him down. He laughs at me as I have a confused look on my face.

"Why are you laughing at me Zayn?"

"You're acting like I've never been to your house before!"

"Oh...well it's just that you haven't been here in ages!"

"I know! When i heard we got three weeks off I got so excited that I could come see you."

"I've really missed you Sky." He tucks a piece of my blonde hair behind my ear and I get butterflies inside. He still has that effect on me after this time away. I wish things weren't so difficult, just being friends pains me and I don't know how much longer I can fake this with him being home.

"Whats going on in that pretty little head of yours?" He smirks at me.

"I'm trying to decide when I should wake up from this cruel dream."

"Cruel? I don't understand."

"Its cruel because when I wake up you really won't be here and I miss you to much." I look down so dream Zayn won't see me upset. He scoots closer and hugs me. I hug back loving every moment of it. He starts to tickle me and I fall off the couch.

"Ow!"

"Oh my God! Are you okay?!"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I am thirsty though from laughing, do,you want anything?"

"No I'm good."

"Okay be right back."

I got in the kitchen and open the fridge. My mum hasn't gone food shopping for this week yet so I guess a bottle of water will have to do. I close the fridge and feel two muscular arms wrap around my waist and a head on my shoulder.

"I missed you so much Sky I can't even compare it to anything else." He nuzzles his face into my neck and I can't help but giggle. I turn around and face him so that I'm looking up at his face and his arms are snaked around my back. I pull him closer and we stand there hugging enjoying each others company until Luke comes running in.

"Skyle! Skyle! Skyle!" I pull away from Zayn and turn to face the little 6 year old.

"Did you show Zayn the pictures on the walls?!"

I start panicking inside. Zayn wasn't supposed to know about the pictures inside my closet! My whole walk in closet is a freakin' Zayn Shrine! Posters, drawings, magazine articles you name it, its in the closet.

"What pictures?" Zayn asks confused.

"Oh, he must be talking about Facebook."

"Nuh uh. In your room Skyle!"

Zayn looks at me then at Luke with a smirk.

"Hey Luke. Sky looks confused how about you show us what your talking about?"

Its official I'm dead. Luke nods before I can protest and drags Zayn upstairs to my room. I will never live this moment down.

[Zayn POV]

Luke grabs my hand an leads me upstairs to Skylar's room. He opens up her walk in closet and all I see are posters of me all over. I hear Skylar run up the stairs, as I look over at her, her cheeks are as red as a tomato. I laugh at how cute she looks when she's embarrassed. Before she can get to me I take out my phone and tweet a picture of it.

I send it in without her noticing. She then runs over to her closet shuts the doors and stands in front of them.

"Luke your gonna get the punishment now you little monster!!!"

"What are ya gonna do to me Skyle?!"

She takes a short pause and puts her hands up.

"I'm gonna.....tickle you!!"

Luke starts screaming and running away as she starts to chase him then stops and looks at me and smiles then continues to chase him. They ended up downstairs so I walked out of her room and went to the living room where she grabbed him and put him on the couch then started to tickle him. I loved it when she played with kids. She finally, after a while stopped tickling him.

"Ok Luke mom said that you needed to take a nap sometime this afternoon so what time do you want to take it?"

"NEVER!" He shouts and I laugh.

"Hey Luke want me to take you up to your room and we can play for awhile then you can take your nap?"

"Yes please! Can he Skyle pleaseeeeeee?"

"Alright I guess he can."

"Yay!"

Luke grabs my hand and drags me upstairs I look at Sky and she laughed.

"You asked for it Zayn!"

We got up to his room and it was a light orange color with stickers of dinosaurs and pirates on the walls.

"Zayn do you like my room?"

"I love your room little man it's awesome!"

"Look!"

He pointed to a drawn picture of what seems to be like stick figures of a boy and a girl by a house with a little sun in the top left corner.

"Who drew that?"

"I did!"

"Who is it of?"

"You and Skyle!"

"It's a very nice picture Luke!"

"Thanks Skylar helped me a little bit."

I miss being with Sky... I quickly snap back to reality with Luke waving something in my face.

"Zayn Zayn look what I got!"

He held out some paper and crayons and ran over and sat at the little green table in the corner of his room. He then got up a brought me over so we could draw.

"Zayn can you draw?"

"Yes I can draw. Would you like me to draw you something?"

"Yeah! Can you draw me a dinosaur and a baby dinosaur?"

"Course I can!"

I grab a piece of paper and crayon and start to draw him his dinosaurs.

"What color do you want them to be?"

"Orange and blue!"

"Ok."

I color them in for him and show him the paper. His face was amazed when he saw how good it was. He then yawned and rubbed his little eyes so I picked him up and placed him on his bed. He curled up and I covered him up in his blanket. I quietly left the room and shut the door. Now I have time to spend with Skylar...alone.
