Chapter 15: School Field Trip

Y/N POV

I woke up to Hunter shanling me awake. "Come on! You're sleeping in and you have a mission!" Hunter said, pulling me out of bed. I looked over to my closet to see Nikki was asleep. "Fine, but I want you to bring me something to eat!" I said. "Fine, as long as you get ready" He said and left my room. I put my uniform on and I decided to bring Nikki just in case something happens. "Nikki, get in" I said, holding my cape for her to get in. She got in a pocket I installed and went into her wooden form. Hunter soon came in with a breakfast bar. I quickly ate it and went to find Lilith. Hunter is incharge on watching the covenless witches to make sure they don't escape. Today was the day that my grade was going to take a field trip to the castle so I have to be careful not to talk to anyone. I saw Lilith talking to Kikimora. "Good morning Lilith and Kikimora" I said to them. "Morning princess" Kikimora said to me. 'Ever science I got here and was told to be Belos daughter, she has been calling me "princess" even though I told her she can call me Y/n' I thought. Lilith snapped her fingers and many guards came out and made a line next to Kikimora. "Today we captured Eda, once and for all" Lilith said and we took off to the Owl house. Soon after we arrived, Lilith told us that Hooty was asleep and to surround the house. I stayed by Lilith as the guards surrounded the house. Hooty suddenly woke up and came straight to Lilith and I. "Hi Lilith and silver girl!" Hooty said when he was right in our faces.

"Morning Hooty, how was your sleep?" I said. I really have no clue what I'm doing but I don't want to go to his 'tea party' he is going to have soon. Hooty knocked Lilith to a tree behind us and other guards came out of the bushes. "Oh it was splendid! But Eda doesn't like trespassers but I always like to make new friends" Hooty said and attacked the guards coming to him. I went over to where Lilith was laying and helped her up. Lilith picked up her palisman and shot a spell towards hooty but he ducked to look at a leaf and she hit the tree behind him and it started to fall. I pushed her out of the way and I barely managed to miss it as it fell. Lilith must have dropped her mirror calling thing and was sourcing for it. I was getting bored and saw Luz being pushed out of the house by Eda to go to school. 'Why not give her a ride, I'm bored and I don't want to be here' I thought and took out my staff and flew over to her. "Heyy~" I said and she looked at me surprised. "Oh you're that silver guard girl right?" Luz said. "Yup and you off to school?" I 'asked' her. "Yup! And I don't want to be late!"

She said and tried to walk away until I picked her up and sat her on my staff. "Why don't I give you a ride? This mission is going haywire and I don't want to be left with all these traumatized guards" I said and started to fly to Hexside. "Why are you being so nice to me? Don't you work for the emperor?" Luz asked. "Well, let's just say we have something in common" I said and landed near the school. "Well see you later Luz!" I said and flew back to Lilith and the others before Luz could say anything to me. When I got back to Lilith, she just got out of a call with Kikimora. Apparently 'father' wanted to meet with us so we went back to the castle. When we got back to the castle, Luz and the others were already there. "Oh! Sorry for the disturbance everyone!" I said and walked in with Lilith. "Students please make way for Lilith Cawthorn and the silver guard" Kikimora said and backed up the 'students'. "If I'm not mistaken, they are on their way to see the emperor himself. Wish them luck!" Kikimora said and the others wished us luck and I saw Lilith get red cheeks. Lilith thanked them and gave a rude comment to them. "Don't worry students, she's just not in a good mood! Hope you enjoy the castle tour!" I said and we both left them. As we walked to my 'father' throne room, I saw Luz following us but I stayed quiet. "Lilith, you didn't have to be so mean to them" I said. "I don't care if they are your friends, they are all annoying" Lilith said.

We soon entered the throne room. We entered and saw 'father' laying on his throne and breathing heavily. Hunter was also there next to Beos. I walk up and stand on the other side of him. Lilith kneels to Belos and says, 'I am at your service'. "Just a moment you two" 'father' said and took a palisman and 'ate' it. "That's better" he said. "I heard that there was a raid this morning for the owl lady?" 'father' said. "Yes but it was-" before Lilith finished, Belos said, 'unsuccessful yes. It's been over a month since you told me that you were going to bring me the owl lady and where is she?'. "I just need more time, I" Lilith says. "Yes, I will give you more time. You have till twilight to bring me the owl lady. But if you fail you will be stripped of your tidal and banished and you know what happens to covenless witches, don't you?" 'father' says. "Yes, I understanded" Lilith said and walked out. "Y/n, There are some kids that are still left in the castle, they're heading to the artifact room. Bring them to me" 'father' says. "Yes" I said and walked to the artifact room and waited for them. Luz, Willow, and Gus entered the room and soon the doors shut and locked. Willow took a plant coven glove and broke the door down. As they were about to leave, Lilith stopped them from the front. I went behind them as Lilith fighters out that Luz was there.

"Aren't I lucky to find you here" Lilith said. "Stay away! If you touch us, Eda will come after you!" Luz screamed at her. I feel bad about what I'm about to do but I have to. I used my staff and made a rope and wrapped it around Willow and Gus. "Ahh" Willow said as she fell to the ground. "Sorry seedling, can't let you get away now can we?" I said. I forgot she still had the glove on and made a root hand go to Lilith. Luz ran away as I pulled my two friends back. "Wrong move" I said and threw them gently to the wall. Lilith tried to take back the hat from Luz but they ended up ripping it and it faded away. "That was to help your sister!" Luz said to Lilith. As Lilith groped Luz, I released my two friends. Lilith sent them to Eda with her palisman. "Luz!" Willow screamed as she left. Lilith put Luz in a bubble and left her with me as she went and waited for Eda. "You! Let me out! Was this your plan! Get close to me and backstab me!" Luz said from the bubble. "Luz, I don't have a say in this... If I did, you wouldn't be in this situation" I told her. "You are close to the emperor right, could you talk to him?" Luz asked me. "He never listens to me. Trust me, I tried" I said. "Luz, Eda will be in danger when she comes here and so will you. Please for the love of god, think before you act" I said and left but I saw the way Luz looked at me. 'I need to say something so she would listen... I know it is going to come snapping back but I can deal with it' I thought.

Luz POV (Yippy a new POV!)

'What- did she say, "For the love of god"? How does she know about that, it titan for them. She also is the only one that calls me by my name instead of 'human' other than my friends. She knows more than she puts out and I have to find out what she is hiding. I will tell Eda about this' I thought as I looked around the room I was left in.
