CHAPTER -9

ABHIR

I am growing impatient now, it's 2 in the afternoon and I saw people going in and out of my future biwi's room. I wanted to hold her, see her, hear her..but this stupid tradition of not seeing your soon to be wife before wedding.

I was standing in my balcony when I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in" I yelled and Anika came in through the doors.

"Bhai, aap abhi tak ready nahin hue 4 bajrhe hain or abhi ek ghante mein mehmaan ajayenge"
(Translation- Bro, you're not ready till now it's 4pm and after one hour guests will arrive)

I looked at the clock and it was indeed 4pm. Fuck.

"Han mein tayyar horha hun, kuch kaam tha?"
"Oh haan bhai, woh maa ne kaha hai ke aap ready hokar jaldi se neeche ajayen takay bhabi ke ghar walon ko aap receive kren"
(Translation- Yeah I'm getting ready, did you had something else to say? / oh yes bro, Mom said to tell you that after getting ready you've to come downstairs so that you can receive your in-laws)

I hummed and she left.

I took a quick shower and got ready in my black sherwani.

After getting totally ready for my wedding, I went downstairs.

"Aray idhar ayee, kitne pyaare lagrhe hain aap bilkul raajkumar" Dadi said making ne smile.
"Dado, aap bh tw ek dum mast lagrhi hain, wait for Dada to see you in this dress" Anika said coming from behind to which dadi smiled shyly and hit her on her arm and she pouted.
(Translation- Come here, you're looking so good just like a prince / Grandma you're so looking beautiful just wait for Grandpa to see in you in this dress)

"Let's go, Your in-laws are here bhai" Ahan said.

As they were living on the other side of the mansion, they have to come through the entrance to enter the mandap. That gave us the chance to welcome them properly. I touched their feet and received their blessings. Rose petals were showering over them as they made their way inside.
It's now 5:50 and pandit jee asked maa to bring my future wife. I couldn't be more happy as I was smiling like an idiot.
After 5 minutes of torture, I hear the sound of anklets and I knew my future wife is here. I stood up from my place and saw her, to say she was looking beautiful would be an understatement because Oh God she was looking Goddess.
I was staring at her or more likely to say 'taar raha tha' but who cares, she's mine and only mine. I can see her and admire her anytime anywhere.
I saw her eyelashes moving as her beautiful brown orbs came in contact with my hazel ones. I was smirking and she was blushing and smiling showing me her perfect dimples.

ARIYA

As I entered the mandap, I can feel his gaze on me and I couldn't stop myself from smiling. My heart was racing and I wanted to look up and see how is he looking but the nervousness didn't let me.
As soon as my eyes saw his feet I had to look up and when I did,  he's already looking at me with a smirk on his face. A smile made its way on my lips and I was shamelessly admiring his handsomeness.
His broad shoulder and perfectly toned body behind that perfectly fitted black sherwani giving me butterflies in my stomach. His perfect chiseled jaw and plump lips which was turned upwards and when I looked slightly up, I saw his one raised eyebrow and I realized that I was checking him out in front of everyone.
And I shy smile took over my lips and I looked down. I saw his hand as he gestured it to me. I took it and felt a jolt of electricity ran down my spine. He helped me get on the stage where we are going to get married beside pandit jee.
"You're looking perfect, Soon to be Biwi" he whispered only for me to hear.
I smiled at his words and kept my face down as I knew my cheeks are probably giving competition to tomatoes.
Pandit jee started his mantars and after rituals it was time for him to put sindoor.
He took out his sword from the tray holding by Ahan and slightly cut his right thumb making me gasp, and filled my hair partition with his blood. I was confused yet tears were hanging in my eyes.
He kissed my forehead "Now you're finally and officially mine , BIWI" he said.
I looked up at him and smiled widely.

We took everyone's greetings and wishes and it was the time my family was leaving for Jaipur.
I wished them goodbye with teary eyes and they all left.

Well well,, ik it's a very short chapter but I promise that soon to be comping chapters will be long as I'm planning to combine two chapters into one..I've them in drafts already.
