CHAPTER - 34

ARIYA

I sat there..for a very long time when nobody came back inside..

I gathered the courage to go outside but Maa stopped me.

"Please maa, Mujhe Veer ke pass jana hai" I said , my voice breaking and tears threatening to come out of my eyes.

(Translation- Please Mom, I want to go to Veer)

She saw my condition and took my hand leading me outside, when we were finally in the front lawn it was empty.

I looked here and there to find any trace of anyone..I shouted Veer's name to get any response from him.

But nothing came back..I started to panic just then I saw pool of blood in front of the main gate and some spots trailing down the path.

My breath hitched in my throat and tears ran down my cheeks..I couldn't move or say anything.

I felt like my body paralyzed, I felt someone shaking me and calling my name before I fell into darkness.

After 5 hours..!!

"Ariya, ankhein kholo beta" I heard someone, I couldn't recognize the voice.

(Translation- Ariya, open your eyes dear)

"Ugh" I grunted due to the pain I was feeling in my abdomen and head.

"Ariya"

"Ariya"

I heard so many people sighing around me, I felt like someone had put the bricks on my eyes because my eyelids felt extremely heavy.

I tried opening them and met with the bright light which made me close my eyes again.

"Beta, ankhein kholo light band krdi hai" Someone said maybe it's my mom or maa, I still couldn't recognize the voices.

(Translation- Sweetheart, open your eyes lights are closed now)

I opened my eyes again and this time it was way better and I saw maa and my mom along with Maya Chachi looking at me with sad eyes but smiling face.

"Hi" I said to all of them and my mom hugged me tightly.

"Beta, bhagwan ka shukar hai tm theek ho" She said and pecked my forehead, tear dropped from her eye to my cheek.

(Translation- Love, ThankGod you're fine)

"Veer" I said , He was the only person in my mind.

"Veer, kahan ha- mere bache" I looked down at my stomach to see there's a bump.

(Translation- Veer, where i- My children)

"Mere bache theek hain na?" I asked breathlessly looking at everyone for a response.

(Translation- Are my kids okay?)

"Han Ariya, donon theek hain fikar nh kro" Maya chachi said making a wave of relief rush down my body.

(Translation- Yes Ariya, they both are healthy and fine. Don't worry)

"Veer..?" Again he was in my mind, but why's no body answering me.

"Maa, Veer kahan hain please batayen" I begged her and she started sobbing.

(Translation- Mom, where's Veer please tell me)

What is going on? Is he okay?

"Maa..k-kia hua ha-i?" I asked, my voice breaking as the fear run down my spine.
