CHAPTER - 12

After Riya went home I attended a meeting and came to know that I have to leave for London tomorrow.

I was upset and nervous because I don't want to leave my biwi behind after just 1 day of our wedding but this deal is important too. I wrapped up my work and went home at around 5 in the evening.

As soon as I entered, Anika and Ahan ran towards me and took me to the living room where everyone else was already settled.

I sat beside my biwi with a raised eyebrow I looked at all of them and saw my biwi blushing and showing her dimples.

"Care to tell me what's going on in here?" I asked to which Anika replied.

"Bhai we are planning or maybe just suggesting the countries where you can take bhabhi for your guys's honeymoon"

I was lost in my thoughts about how I'm gonna tell them about me leaving tomorrow.

"Bhai, agar apne pehle se socha hua hai tw no problem" Ahan said with a grin on his face.

(Translation- Bro, if you have already planned it then no problem)

I hit his head and he faked the pain.

"We can't go on honeymoon" I said looking at my biwi and she stopped smiling and looked at me.

"Abhir yeh kia kehrhe hain aap? Aese kese aap hamari bahu ko mana krskte hain?" Maa said

(Translation- Abhir what are you saying? How can you say no to our daughter in law)

"Maa mein kisi ko mana nh krrha meri poori baat tw sunein"

(Translation- Maa I'm not saying no to anyone, listen to me first)

"I am going to London tomorrow for a business deal. Dad , chachu as we planned to open our Rathore's industry's branch there , so I have to go and sign the paperworks , visit the sight and meet with our clients and workers". I explained

"Haan tw kisi or ko bhejdo, aapki shaadi ko abhi 2 din nh hue or aap aese akele chor ke nh jaskte hamari bachi ko" Chachi said making me look at my biwi who was playing with her fingers, I know she's nervous by this gesture of hers.

(Translation- Okay but send someone else, you can't leave our daughter like this on 2nd day of your marriage)

I put my hand over hers and that made her stop.

"Riya?" She didn't look up.

"Riya, look at me na" this time she looked up I can see that she's trying to hold back her tears.

"Riya, I promise I'll come back as soon as possible, I made them check if I can take you with me but they said it's not possible"

She nodded but said nothing and left.

Everyone had sad faces, I went behind my biwi and saw her entering bathroom.

I knocked but she didn't replied back.

"Biwi?" Nothing
