Takes place before the 'A Hero is born' pilot episode.
Sun Wukong visits Leona in his bird from almost every morning. But Leona doesn't even know that it's him. She names her bird friend, Peach Fuzz.

Every morning, like clockwork, when the first rays of sunlight kissed the horizon, a beautiful orange and teal bird would perch upon an open windowsill of a small apartment building.
It would gaze into the room and fix its eyes on a gorgeous 30-year-old woman with brunette hair, peacefully sleeping in bed with one arm draped over her pillow.
The bird smiled fondly, its cheeks turning slightly pink. The bird has been watching over this woman, who is called Leona, as it also did with a young boy named MK who worked with her. And they don't realise it, but to this bird, they are the most precious people in the world.
Suddenly, the bird got startled by the sound of a loud buzzing coming from the alarm clock, on the nightstand next to Leona's bed.
She stirred and groaned, reaching out to turn off the irritating noise. As Leona's royal blue eyes fluttered open, she noticed a familiar shadow looming over her face. "Peach Fuzz?" She mumbled sleepily, rubbing her eyes.
The exotic-looking bird chirped happily in response. Peach Fuzz then hopped from the window onto Leona's left arm and affectionately nuzzled her cheek as a means of telling her how much he missed her.
Leona smiled softly and nuzzled him back gently. "Good morning to you too, handsome bird," She cooed, kissing Peach Fuzz's beak.
Peach Fuzz preened at the affectionate gesture, tilting his head and closing his golden yellow eyes.
After a moment of enjoying each other's company, Leona sighed heavily and sat up in bed. "Time to get up," Leona said, stretching her arms over her head.
She then turned to her bird friend who perked up curiously at her.
"Wanna join me for breakfast?" Leona suggested, rising from the bed and heading towards the bathroom.
Peach Fuzz chirped excitedly, making Leona giggle. "Awesome. Just let me brush my teeth first though, OK?"
She stepped into the bathroom, brushing her teeth and washing up before stepping out and getting dressed out off her red pajamas and into her Pigsy's Noodles uniform.
Leona then headed into the kitchen, preparing a couple of slices of toast before taking them to the couch where Peach Fuzz was waiting.
After sitting down, Leona grabbed a piece of toast and crumbled it into crumbs, placing them on another plate for her feathery companion. "Here you go, Peachy," She said, offering it to him.
The bird took a small bite and happily munched away. Leona then ate her own piece of toast, smiling contentedly.
Once Leona's breakfast was done, it was time for her to leave for work. She gathered her things, put on her shoes, and headed out the door.
She paused when she heard Peach Fuzz let out a sad chirp, clearly disappointed that she was leaving so soon.
With a smile on her lips, Leona strode over to Peach Fuzz, who now stood on the kitchen counter, and sympathetically petted his fluffy plumage. "Sorry little buddy, I really have to go to work." She told him gently. "But I'll see you when I get back, okay?"
Peach Fuzz gave her a nod of understanding and flew back over to the couch to finish off his plate of crumbs.
Leona sighed and shook her head lightly, chuckling under her breath. "You've grown way too attached to me, huh?" She mused to her friend.
The bird just let out a trill of agreement and continued eating.
Leona chuckled again before walking back towards the door. "See ya later, Peachy." She called out before she opened the door to leave.
As soon as Leona had left, Peach Fuzz let out a frustrated huff.
He understood that Leona needed to provide for herself, but he felt lonely when she wasn't around.
Then, with no person insight, Peach Fuzz started to glow and suddenly transformed from his bird form, and into a male humanoid Monkey.
His orange feathers had become orange fur. He has peach skin, golden eyes with a lined wing, and thick black eyebrows. His outfit consisted of a gold chest plate over a yellow shirt, a gold coattail with red and turquoise trim, maroon pants, a red sash belt, and black boots with gold soles. He also wore a red two-piece cape and a small gold headdress with two long red feathers. The bird who Leona had named Peach Fuzz, had revealed himself to be The Monkey King, also known as Sun Wukong.
"See you later Leona." He whispered quietly to himself with a loving smile on his face.
