In your respective rooms, you and Bada were getting ready to visit the strawberry field. Despite Bada already telling you she loved you, you were still nervous- the anticipation caused your heart to pound relentlessly. After all, returning to the place where you and Bada began your journey together, made you emotional.

Once you finished your makeup, you began thinking about your outfit, opting for the pink dress Bada purchased for you yesterday, and pairing it with short white lace socks and black shoes. You adorned yourself with a small necklace, earrings, and the matching ring you had with Bada, and styled your hair into a half-up, half-down hairstyle, placing a black bow in it. As you gazed at your reflection in the mirror, a sense of confidence washed over you- with a smile, you turned and settled on the bed, reaching for your phone to text Bada.

y/n: i'm ready hehe

y/n: you?

bada: me too, wanna see? ;)

y/n: WHAT'S UP WITH THAT

y/n: but yes, let me see

Bada sent a photo of herself posing in front of the mirror. She wore black jeans, a blue crop top, and a matching blue windbreaker, completing the look with a pair of Nike shoes. The way she posed sent butterflies fluttering in your stomach, admiring her undeniable beauty.

y/n: WOW you're so pretty <3

y/n: i'll go down stairs already! i'll wait for you

Grabbing your purse, you quickly left your room and headed toward the elevator. As the doors slid open, you exchanged a quick good morning greeting with the front desk lady, and she gestured towards the outside, letting you know the tall girl was already waiting- you thanked her and went outdoors.

"Hellooo." You said, playfully elongating the last vowel as you hugged Bada.

She wrapped her arms around you, gently patting your back. "Hi, angel. How are you?"

"I'm doing well, I'm excited." You giggled. "And you?"

"I'm very happy." Bada spoke.

"I'll lead the way again, let's go!" You exclaimed happily.

Bada released the hug but held your hand as you walked towards the strawberry field. A giggle escaped you when you felt the matching ring on her finger- looking up at her with a smile, she turned around, returning the smile. You walked the short distance in comfortable silence as you peacefully strolled through Potenza's streets, enjoying the feeling of the sun's rays on your exposed skin. Approaching the entrance, a familiar and captivating view unfolded- the greenery adorned with ripe strawberries. Once more, you talked with the workers, paying for your baskets for the berry-picking. Handing Bada her basket, you both set off toward the field, ready to experience the activity that had created the bond between you two.

"Bada, let's head over there." You suggested, pointing towards a calmer corner of the field with fewer people.

Bada followed your lead, watching from behind as you started gathering the ripest, reddest berries. When you turned around, you noticed she had not picked any, and she chuckled as you made eye contact.

"What?" You asked as you laughed alongside Bada.

She raised an eyebrow. "You haven't told me yet, and we're already in the strawberry field."

Realizing she had used the same words you said in the cathedral, you rolled your eyes and gently bit the inside of your cheek. "I can't believe you're just like me."

"I also don't forget." She said, placing a hand on your cheek and softly caressing your skin.

You took a deep breath before speaking. "You beat me to it, but I just wanted to express how happy you made me. The way you love me is beyond words- it makes me feel like the most special girl in the whole world. Bada, you've made me feel loved when I couldn't even love myself." A gentle smile graced your face before you continued. "Every moment spent with you makes me love you more, and I want to keep loving you, making you happy, and being by your side forever. Bada, I love you with my whole heart."

For the first time, you saw Bada blushing deeply, her gaze avoiding yours as she still held your cheek. "Fuck." She mumbled, letting go of your skin and wrapping her arms tightly around you. You let go of your basket, letting it land on the floor and hugged Bada. "I love you too, baby. I love you so much, my pretty girl." Bada confessed, burying her face in your neck.

"Bada, you're going to make me cry in public." You said, placing one of your hands on the back of her head. "I love you more, sweetheart. But, I want to see you blush; let me see your face." You giggled, attempting to lighten the mood, as you genuinely did not want to cry here.

Bada loosely wrapped her arms around your waist, allowing you to see her blushing face. With a shy smile, she asked. "There, are you happy?"

Your hands rested at your sides, and you replied. "Very happy." Gently placing your fingers under her chin, you asked. "Can I kiss you?"

Bada nodded, and you leaned in for a quick kiss, feeling her smile against your lips. As you parted, she whispered. "I love you."

"I love you too." You responded, grabbing your basket again. "Now, let's see who can find the sweetest strawberry."

"Wait, I already found mine." She said, her voice almost serious, though her basket remained empty.

"Huh, what do you mean? Your basket is still empty." You pointed out as you plucked a red berry.

Leaning down to be close to your ear, Bada whispered, grabbing a berry next to the one you picked. "I already found you."
