"Once upon a time, long, long ago... well, more like 20 years ago... Belle married her Beast in front of 6,000 of their closest personal friends. Big cake. Yeah, so instead of a honeymoon, Beast united all of the kingdoms and got himself elected king of the United States of Auradon. He rounded up all the villains and sidekicks... basically all the really interesting people... and he booted them off to the isle of the lost with a magical barrier to keep them there. This is my hood. No magic. No wi-fi. No way out. Or so I thought. Hang on, you're about to meet us. But first this happened."
Prince Ben was being measured for his new suit. His best friend Rachel was sitting on the bench that was in front of his bed looking at her notes. The tailor muttered to himself as he measured the young prince. Ben was staring out the deep into thought. As his parents came in and Rachel noticed them coming in. "Ben!" She called his name and Ben saw his parents.
"How is it possible that you are going to be crowned king next month?" King Beast asked smiling. "You're just a baby!"
"He's turning 16, dear." Queen Belle said smiling sweetly at both teenagers.
"Hey, pops-" Ben said but his father interrupted.
"16? That's far too young to be crowned king. I didn't make a good decision until I was at least 42." King Beast said but Belle scoffed.
"Uh, you decided to marry me at 28." She said.
"Well it was either you or a teapot." He jokingly replies winking to his son and his son's best friend who lightly chuckled. But upon the look on his wife's face he quickly covered up with an "I'm joking."
Belle had turned back to fold a shirt that was left on the side. Rachel watched her best friend carefully from her position across the room, she knew what he was about to tell his parents and she knew it would not go down well.
"Mom, dad..." Ben said with a smile. He attempted to step off the box, but he was stopped by the tailor who was measuring his leg, after gaining all of his courage he finally announced. "I've chosen my first official proclamation. I've decided that the children on the isle of the lost be given a chance to live here in Auradon." Beast and Belle looked very shocked as a shirt fell out of the Queen's hands. "Every time I look out to the island, I feel like they've been abandoned." Ben walked off the platform and the tailor didn't like that, Ben was standing in front of his parents.
Rachel walked over to Ben and stood beside him.
"And you agree with this?" King Adam asks Rachel.
"Yes I do." Rachel said while nodding.
"The children of our sworn enemies, living among us?" Beast said with a stern look.
"We start out with a few at first, only the ones who need our help the most." Rachel said.
"And I already have picked them out." Ben said.
"Have you?" Beast asked, sternly.
"I gave you a second chance. Who are their parents?" Belle said/ask the teens.
"Cruella De Vil." Rachel started.
"Jafar." Ben said.
"Evil Queen." Rachel said, slightly dreamily which made Ben look at her confused. "I'll tell you later." She whispered to Ben.
"And Maleficent." Ben finished, with everyone shocked but Beast angry. "MALEFICENT!" Beast shouts. "She is the worst villain in the land!"
"Dad, just hear us out here!" Ben said to dad, calmly.
"I won't hear of it. They are guilty of unspeakable crimes." Beast said, as the staff leave the room.
"Your majesty, their children are innocent. Don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life?" Rachel asks King Beast, wanting to give the villains a change at a good life, but most important she wants to meet Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen in proper words, Queen Grimhilde.
"Dad?" Ben asks, looking desperate at his dad.
"I suppose their children are innocent." King Beast said, calming down.
Rachel started to smile and quietly squeal.
Belle walks up to her son. "Well done." She says straightening her son's jacket, Ben and Rachel smile at Queen Belle's response. "Shall we?" Belle asks her husband after walking back over to him. Adam nods and walks out of the room with his arm hooked with Belle's.
When the King and Queen left the room, Rachel squeals happily as Ben smiled and hugged Rachel spinning her around in a circle in his arms. Rachel laughed as he puts her down, they walked over to the window, holding hands and Rachel rested her head on his shoulder.

"You convinced them, congrats." She said with a smile.
"It's finally happening." Ben said as he watches the isle. "I'm so excited."
"We should be, but this is just the beginning of your proclamation." Rachel said.
Ben looked at her slightly confused and he said. "You own me an explanation."
She slowly walked to his bed and sat on it. "You remember when we both said that we will not keep secrets from each other." Ben nods and Rachel continues. "Well, you're the first person I'm going to tell." Ben nods for her to continue. "Ben, I..... I like girls now." They was a silent pause and all of the sudden Ben laughs. "What's so funny? I'm being serious."
"I'm sorry. It's just that I already know that."
Rachel's eyes went wided, "What?! How did you knew?"
"Easy, I always see the way you look at Jane." Ben said. "And she rejected me but we're still friends. I'm her only friend and I did like her but she's straight." Rachel groans and continues. "God, she's just so adorable and awkward, I like that about her."
"So y-you're okay with that, that i'm gay?" She asks her best friend. "Of course I do. You're my best friend I love you for who you are."
Rachel hugged Ben's side and said, "Thank you for understanding. I haven't even told my parents."
"You will, eventually." Ben assured her.
"Yeah." After a few minutes of silence Rachel jumps up. "Come on. They're still a lot of work to do before they get here."
"After a cute moment?" Ben smirked at his friend.
"Uh, yes. We have to get ready for their arrival." Rachel said.
"Honestly, I'm so glad that I have you here." Ben said.
"You better be, without me none of this would happen." Rachel said smiling and pointing out the window. "Now, stop stalling. Get changed and grab your things, we have to get to school and plan their welcoming." She walked out of Ben's room and he joined her while she waited for him in Limousine. Rachel was really really excited to meet the VK but mostly Evie. "I have a bet for you." Ben said, while they were still in the limousine. "Okay. What kind of bet?"
"I bet 10 bucks that it's one of the Villain Kids you like." Ben suggested.
Rachel smirks and said "You're on." She shook his hand and dis their handshake (which was a fist bump and a snap of a finger) and they couldn't wait for the VK arrival.
