After the sword fight with Uma and her pirate crew, they were in the limo now, with Jay driving and Lonnie in the passenger seat.
"I'm really sorry that things didn't go the way you wanted them to." Ben told Mal.
"I mean, as long as you're safe, that's..." Mal trailed off.
"Well, I mean, at least I got to see the Isle." Ben said. "They're my people, too. Uma helped me see that."
Mal looked at Ben as if he were crazy. "Ben, Uma captured you."
"She's an angry girl with a bad plan." Ben told Mal. "That's not so different from you when you came to Auradon, Mal."
"Awkward." Dude said from where he was sitting with Carlos, Evie and Rachel.
"Dude, I know you can talk, but it doesn't always mean you should." Carlos told Dude.
They all got back to Auradon and now Rachel excused herself to go to her dorm.
When she got to her dorm, something felt wrong. She approached her mirror that was held up on the wall. But she shrugged it off and walked away from it.
When suddenly, "psst! Psst!" Rachel turned back to her mirror and saw Uma in the mirror.
Uma sends something shiny and sparkly through the mirror. It hit Rachel's face and it made Rachel's brown eyes turn into golden yellow pupils.
Uma has a plan B and no one is going to see it coming.

Later that night, the Cotillion was held on the royal yacht. Everyone was dancing and after the music stopped, everyone cheered. Then the trumpets got blown and Lumiere stepped up to the top of the stairs. "The future Lady Mal!" Lumiere announced before stepping to the side to reveal Mal stepped out with a nervous look on her face. She looked down the stairs to see her friends with awwed. "Work it, girl." Lumiere whispered to Mal causing her to laugh. Evie started to clap with the rest of their friends following her lead. Belle and Adam commented Mal on her dress and she went down the stairs. "Hi." Evie said with a grin as she and Mal walked over to their friends. "Hi." Mal said with a nervous smile. "How are you?" Evie asked Mal. "Uh, sort of feel like I'm gonna throw up." Mal told Evie. "Where's Rachel?" "I have no idea. But yeah, okay, that's okay." Evie told Mal as they got to their friends. "Look, we're right here with you, okay?" "Okay." Mal whispered back. The trumpet got blown again and Mal and Evie let out quiet squeals as they turned to face the stairs. "King Benjamin." Lumiere announced before stepping to the side to reveal Ben as the crowd cheered. Ben looked down the stairs at Mal with a smile and she responded the smile back. "Go get him." Evie whispered to Mal before pushing her forward. Ben walked down the stairs to meet Mal with a serious expression on his face. Ben gave her a bow and Mal bowed back. "Mal, I wish I had time to explain." Ben told Mal as she looked at him, confused. He looked up the stairs as Uma stepped out in a teal gown and saw Rachel holding her arm who had a blank face in her purple beaded gown. Mal and Evie looked in shock. Mal and Evie watched, hurt, as Ben walked up the stairs to meet Uma and grabbed her hand, Ben bent down and kissed Uma's hand that had his ring on it as everybody gasped. Ben led Uma over to where Mal was standing, confused and heartbroken. "I'm sorry. It all happened so fast. Something happened to me when I was on the Isle with Uma. A connection." Ben said.
