"Sal we better go" Travis says, pushing off the bed and frantically going through my clothes. When I look at the time it's 2:45.
"Oh shit you're right" I say , joining Travis in the search for clothes. He throws on one of my shirts and a pair of jeans he brought from his house. I frantically put on a random band-t and long black skirt that fell just below my knees. When I look at Travis his face is bright red.
"What? Do I look funny? "I say and he smiles, taking my hand in his.
"No, I've just never seen you in a skirt before," he says awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.
"You look really good by the way" he comments and I can't help but smile.
"Let's get going," I say , pulling him out of the apartment.

God sal can make anything look good. I could never pull off a skirt. I'm too tall and lanky. When we get to the basement all the lights are out and I smile. They're ready.
"What the hells going on?" sal says as we blindly walk through the dark trying to find larrys door. When we do find it and open the door ,it's dark in there for a second before the light flashes on and it seems like everyone I know jumps out of their hiding spots.
"SURPRISE" they scream in unison making Sal and me jump. Sal turns to me eyes wide,full of shock.
"DID YOU KNOW?" he says loudly. I nod my head slowly and sal pull me into possibly the tightest hug I've ever been given.
"Thanks for distracting him dude!" Larry says smacking me on the back causing me to cough.
"What did yall even do for 4 hours." he asks and my face goes red. I look at him in silence as everyone else surrounds sal. We stare at each other for a couple seconds before he realizes.
"NO, are you serious?" he says in an almost whisper.
"I don't know what you're implying.'' I say firmly and he gives me a look.
"Oh you guys totally fucked" he says crossing his arms and i dont do anything but look away.
"I didn't know you had it in you dude" he says punching me in the shoulder. I turn back to him face red and more embarrassed than I think I've ever been.
"Nothing to be ashamed of dude everybody fucks.... eventually" he says quickly after realizing im uncomfortable.
"I just don't want to talk about it right now" I say and he nods before continuing to spectate the party.
Ash is in full goth glam and looks absolutely stunning and happy. Everyone looked so happy and for the first time in a while I felt truly at peace. Obviously not everything is perfect and I still struggle at times but my life truly has improved. I don't feel nearly as lonely or hate myself as much as a few months ago. It's crazy how much can change in such a short time.
Ash and I sit on the couch together talking about everyone and everything. We comment on everyone's outfits and how happy Sal looks.
"So are you and Sal going well?" she asks, nudging me softly in the elbow.
"yeah we're good, I really love him" I say and she smiles wide.
"I'm glad" she pauses thinking for a moment.
"can I tell you something serious?" I nod quickly.
"Whatever it is you can tell me, I won't tell anyone promise" I stick out my pinky to her and she wraps it in hers.
"Me and Larry are dating now" she whispers into my ear. Im not shocked at all but when she pulls away I can almost see the red on her face under her white foundation.
"Finally!" I say jokingly.
"WHAT??" she says surprised.
"Don't act like you two haven't had the fattest crushes on each other since I've known you guys" she smiles sheepishly before nodding.
"I just didn't know how to ask him until he asked me.... HE MADE ME A PANTING!" She says super excited.
"That's so romantic," I comment
"I'm really thirsty, could you get us some punch?" she asks and I nod , getting off the couch and going to the kitchen.
"Travis" someone yells behind me once I've made it to the counter and I turn around to see Sal with a huge smile on his face. As soon as I turn around he pulls me into a tight hug.
"Thank you for today." he says with a warm smile.
"I'm glad we're both safe now," he says before kissing me. I don't know what else to say. He's changed my life and thank you is just not enough.
"I love you so much" I whisper into his ear.
"I love you to the moon and back times ten" he says looking up at me with a smile.
"I don't care what anyone from the church says anymore, even if this is sinning, you are worth sinning for '' I say quietly, closing my eyes and resting my head on his. Basking in his warmth, bathing in his love.
(AUTHORS NOTE: oh my god guys is this real??? did i just finish this fic?????????????? Whenever I've been going through something rough i always knew i could take a step back and write "worth sitting for" but now its over :'( I truly hope you enjoyed reading this and i did it justice.
