"Yes?" - Elena turned around once one of her colleagues stopped her. "We've left something in your office. We found something while searching the house yesterday." - Elena nodded at her words, having a though about what it could it be. They found Emiliano this morning.

He tried to take a plane in Nice, but he was too late for anything. She walked in her office, with pain in her right shoulder still present from few days ago. But it was manageable, unlike first few hours. She had her stitches out and it felt a bit better.

Next week, she is off for vacation with Charles. Both of them having two weeks for themselves. She had no idea where Charles was planning on taking them but, he said he had everything under control.

...

He is the one who murdered the children... he killed innocent lives just for what? Because his wife was unfaithful? He bought that man? He bought an assassin to murder his kids? Just because they weren't his?

Elena had to sit this one through. It was messing with her mind. Emiliano paid the man to murder the children after he found out they weren't his? How cruel did he have to be? He didn't want a trace of another man in his house so he cut their lives short? And acted like nothing ever happened?

They also found number card that goes in the phone, and it turned out to be the card with same phone number that man called the night he was murdered. Just few hours before his children were killed too. He also did dirty job for Jose, few months back, as they found all kinds of drugs in his house.

It was all set so Emiliano made a call to let the man know he was out of house and that he could go in and slaughter them in such a cruel way?

Elena knew he couldn't escape any of this as they had proof. But it was up to lawyers now. She made a call and told them to tell him to choose his lawyer and inform him about his charges. And everything they had on him. Until Elena left her office, reporters were already all around the building, wanting to know the truth.

"Ms. Neville, is it true that Mr. Allison was the one who murdered his children?"

"The rumors say you were involved in the shooting when his wife was killed, is it true?"

"What consequences will he face?"

"Does Mr. Allison know about his charges? Did he reveal his intentions?"

Elena ignored as it was not expected of her to answer on any of those questions. There will be hearing and they can find out everything then. She walked to her car and drove home, where she found herself not too long after.

"Is it true? That Emiliano killed his children?" - Charles asked as they watched the news, cuddled up on her couch, with cups of coffee in their hands. "Yeah, but they weren't his. His wife was cheating on him, he found out and paid an assassin to make sure they are gone." - Elena explained, feeling how his breathing slowed down.

"My god, that's horrible. There is no excuse for his actions even though I wanted to get my hands first on him. He almost killed you."

"I know, love. But the law will do their thing. With four charges of a murder, attempted murder on Ashley and me, and drugs they found in his house I don't think he'll be able to walk out again." – She assured him as they switched from the news to a movie they have been planning on watching for quite some time. "By the way, start packing your bags, we have flight Sunday morning." – He informed as she raised her head from his chest to look up at him, an hour in a movie.

"Where are we going?" – She asked. "Santorini, in Greece seven days. Isa and Carlos are also going." – He responded as her eyes went wide at his response. "Did you have luck or you just somehow knew that Santorini is one of my dream vacations?" – Elena turned her attention fully to him as his eyes wandered across the room. "I will never reveal my ways but I found out that it is your dream vacation. Doesn't matter how, I just want you to enjoy in it." – Charles responded as she hugged him out of excitement.

"Ouch, that hurts." – She winced once she pressed her shoulder against his a little bit too hard. The wound still hurt when she would put pressure on it. But both of them laughed it off, falling into each other's arms with smiles on their faces.
