"Buenos Días, champion." - She greeted with a smile on her face as he mirrored it, kissing her forehead while she laid on his chest. "Speaking Spanish? When will you learn French?" - He commented, grinning down at her. "Oui? That means something, right?" - He laughed at her, squeezing his arms around her body.
"What's on the table today?" - Elena asked, as they were getting ready for the breakfast. "Well, I made a reservation. We have a yacht just the two of us for the whole day." - He responded, as he already planned out their whole vacation just so she could enjoy it without a worry.
Elena packed two of her swimsuits just in case, as she always does. Packing was always stressing for her, but Charles was there to help her and from time to time laugh at her overreacting.
But they made it to the yacht as Charles greeted the owner and discussed some things Elena didn't get into. She stood by his side, not really paying attention to anything he's saying but looking over at the sea, how beautifully it waved and mirrored sun in itself. There wasn't other sound but ocean and small talks of people who were passing by.
That's when Elena noticed a group of people approaching them, pointing at Charles. And he heard them once they started calling out to him. He quickly finished the conversation with the owner, greeting him as he walked away, saving himself from the group of people approaching.
"I'll be right back guys, just a moment." - He told them once they were close enough to hear him. "Let me help you get on the yacht first." - Charles' hand wrapped around her waist, helping her carry their bags for the day out on the sea.
Elena liked that he secured her away from people, focusing on her firstly and then on his fans who were nice enough to patiently wait for him without shouting and making a mess around other people who were confused.
Elena sat on one side of the yacht, taking her phone and texting Amelia not to be worried as to not receive why she didn't text her whole day message. She gets a little worried once Elena doesn't respond to her message in more than an hour. Elena decided to go and change to her black swimsuit now, to be more comfortable later.
"Charles is that your girlfriend?" - One of the boys who looked around fifteen years old, asked Charles after getting his photo with him. "Yes, it is." - Charles proudly responded as whispers already forming somewhere in the group.
"Have a nice vacation Charles!"
"Let's win this championship once you get back!"
Words of encouragement were shouted as the group started walking away while Charles thanked and waved at them, getting on the yacht and meeting with Elena once again. His hand went around her, almost like a muscle reflex, placing a kiss on her forehead.
Charles immediately took the role of captain, getting ready to turn on the yacht and go somewhere away from the people. "You are not going anywhere until you put on damn sun cream." - Elena warned him as he turned around to face her.
"I'll be fine until we get away from this place." - He assured her as he felt her eyes burning in his back. He turned around once more to face her posture, standing with sun cream in her hand and giving him a warning look. He let out a laugh before stepping towards her. "Yes I know what happened last time, you don't have to remind me." - He placed his hands on her lower back as she didn't move, not giving up until he agreed on putting sun cream.
"Alright, fine." - He gave up as she smiled at his reaction. "I don't like the silent treatment." - He complained, sitting down facing his back to her. "I figured." - Elena replied applying sun cream on his shoulders and back. "Wait a moment. You are in such hurry, calm down a little bit." - She pulled him back in his seat.
"Look at the attitude, oh my god." - He joked looking up at her with a smile on his face. She stepped in between his legs, his arms wrapping around her thighs. Elena placed a little sun scream over his nose and cheeks as he gave her serious look.
"You'll thank me, captain." - She shrugged trying to leave but he didn't let her go that easily. He placed few kisses on her stomach before unwrapping his arms and watching her walk back to the deck of the yacht. "Don't you think you need sun cream as well?" - He asked. "Don't worry for me, I brought everything I need." - She winked at him getting out of his sight.
Elena laid on the biggest towel she brought, her skin being kissed by the sun at the sound of ocean behind her closed eyes. This peace could not be matched with any type of silence she has tried to rest herself in. She could still hear distant music from one of the buildings on the island as they did not go that far, still seeing Saint hotel and other apartments.
Elena, like she was woken up, shivered under touch of something cold on her chest. She sat up in speed, as ice cube fell off of her chest and Charles' laughter was heard in background. "You are an actual child, you know that?" - She wiped few drops of cold water that ice cube left as he continued to laugh.
"I am sorry, but I don't want you to sleep now. Come on we have a whole day in front of us." - He sat next to her, embracing her body in his arms, placing a kiss on her forehead. "Well if you just asked if I was asleep you would've seen that I wasn't." - She replied, giving herself up in his arms. They chatted for a minute before he stood up and brought two glasses and a bottle of wine with himself.
He sat on the towel with her, a bottle of wine separating them as they watched the view in front of them. "Please push your shoulders back. Correct your posture a bit." - She warned him again as he smiled. "You've been acting like my mother all day, what is happening?"
"I am just trying to tell you what's the best is for you. And for an athlete like you, it would not be good to have bad posture, Charles." - He immediately pushed his shoulders back as she smiled at him. "Wait, I'll even lay down." - His back slowly made contact with the towel as Charles placed his arms behind his head.
"Now that I got you like that." - She left her glass, taking the sun cream she previously applied, sitting over his lap. She started spreading sun cream over his chest, her fingers slowly playing over his abs as she talked nonsense and he still listened.
He watched her with mesmerizing eyes, drowning in her beauty and the melody of her voice, thinking only about her and nothing else. Thinking of how her lips moved and danced as words poured out. The sweetness of her voice filling his ears, as if he was hypnotized.
The whole day he spent watching her, taking in everything she would do and the way she would do it. Like the rest of his life depended on it, he searched for something that could tell him what on her made him feel this way. Charles wondered but he never seemed to find the answer.
Maybe everything was an answer.
Everything she would do would be perfect, every strand of hair would fall in place like dominoes, every blink would show off her lashes and every smile would show that bright smile he was so hypnotized about. Like a drug - and he was an addict.
