AFTER THREE YEARS OF WORKING DILIGENTLY AS A COUNTER AND MANY TIMES HE HAD BEEN SAID TO BE ' FLIRTING WITH DEATH ' BY HIS TEAMMATES , HE WAS CALLED INTO YUNG.Scared that he had accidentally done something wrong and terrified that he would be dismissed as he stood at the end of the table in the all white room with his body flicking in and out of visibility , but when he saw the young girl that was his Yung partner smile , he felt some of he tension and fear lift off his shoulders.
YUNG WANTED HIM TO GO TO SOUTH KOREA TO ASSIST THE COUNTERS OVER THERE AFTER THEY HAD LOST A TEAMMATE AND TO HELP TRAIN THE NEWEST COUNTER. They justified their reasoning for choosing the youngest out of all his teammates by saying he had the most experience out with Level Three evil spirits out of them all and had a fully Korean ethnic background and knew Korean as a second language , so he wouldn't stick out that much for being a foreigner.
YANG AGREED , BUT NOT ' JUST ' TO HELP THE KOREAN COUNTERS. He agreed so he could quietly investigate the murder of his mother and his brother. He knew that his mother and brother's sudden trip to Korea wasn't their idea , and he knew that them and his grandparents getting killed at the exact same time wasn't as simple as being just a car accident.
