"I really don't like this uniform," Yang muttered, adjusting the position of the black mask on his face before following Mo-tak into the school gymnasium.
"The cops are here," Mo-tak said loudly to announce their presence as they walked in. The bullies that Yang had seen yesterday turned to look at them, with Mun laying on the ground with his friend sitting next to him and cradling his head.
"Who are these weirdos?" One of the bullies asked.
"Wait, the cops are here?"
"I was just playing a prank on you," Mo-tak told them. "Look at you all scared."
"Who are you bastards?"
"Kids these days, always swearing," Yang sighed with a shake of his head, loud enough for the bullies to hear. The other Counters turned to look at him. He ignored them, putting his hands in his pockets and continued to look at the bullies.
"What do you want?" Two of the bullies took a few steps closer to them.
The four Counters began walking towards them, Ha-na taking her hood and mask off. "That boy is a member of our organization."
Yang pulled his mask off but kept his hood up, adjusting how his curls fell over his forehead.
"Your organization?"
Mo-tak pretended to brush his hair back. "Eonni's Gang." The bullies laughed at them as Mae-ok put her pointer finger and thumb under her chin and Ha-na and Yang hid their faces out of embarrassment.
"With an old fart like yourself and that grandma?" One of them asked. He pointed at Ha-na and Yang. "Hang on. Aren't they that girl and guy?"
"Jeez, you guys beat the crap out of him," Mae-ok commented, seeing Mun laying on the ground as Ha-na walked forward and towards Mun and his friend. "Kids these days are so cruel. This could kill someone. You'll go to jail."
"Why should we go to jail?" One of the bullies asked. "That bitch and that dickhead should. Two adults hit minors. Call the cops."
"I'm literally the same age as you?" Yang sounded offended as he spoke under his breath, a small scoff ending his sentence.
The one with his tie hung loosely around his neck stepped forward. "Just know that my dad is an assemblyman."
The two nodded with a small gasp. Mo-tak spoke up. "Jeez, you son of a bitch. This is why the victims can't report you guys."
"I bet their parents are assholes too," Mae-ok added, pointing at the bullies.
"Total assholes, I'm sure," Mo-tak agreed.
"Yang-ah," Ha-na called, causing Yang to hum and look up. She gestured for him to come over to her and Mun's friend. Yang walked over, his shoulder purposely bumping one of the bullies' shoulder as he passed.
"What?" He asked, taking a look at Mun's bloody face and grimaced.
"Carry him on your back," She instructed him.
"Why can't you?" He complained. She stared at him and he sighed, getting onto his knees. He grabbed Mun's hands as Ha-na and Mun's friend helped Mun's unconscious body lift onto his back. The bullies turned around to look at them.
"Hey, what are you doing?"
"Where are you going?"
They ignored him, a small grunt leaving Yang's lips as he stood up. Yang's hands tucked under Mun's thighs and the boy's hands came to rest over his shoulders and onto his chest.
"Hey." The bullies continued to try to get their attention. "We're not done here. Stop."
The three started walking back towards Mo-tak and Mae-ok, ignoring the bullies.
