The evening air in the dormitory was thick with whispers and curious glances. The cafeteria incident had spread like wildfire, and now everyone was discussing Shoto's daring confession to Bakugou. In the living area, groups huddled together, their voices a mix of shock, excitement, and sympathy.

"Can't believe Todoroki of all people asked Bakugou out!" Mina exclaimed, her eyes wide. "Talk about unexpected pairings!"

Jiro nodded, "It was bold. Gotta give him props for that."

Midoriya sat silently on the couch, scribbling in his hero notebook, but his ears were tuned into the conversation. His curious green eyes darted from person to person, listening intently but choosing not to comment.

Shoto, in the middle of it all, seemed surprisingly calm. He took a sip from his cup, seemingly unaffected by the chatter around him. "Where's Bakugou?" he asked.

Sero pointed outside, where through the window they could see Bakugou's familiar form unleashing a series of explosions, sweat glistening on his brow. "Training. As usual. You know him, blow stuff up when in doubt."

Kirishima leaned closer to Shoto, his voice low. "So, what now, Todoroki? You gonna give up?"

Shoto stared at his reflection in the tea for a moment, then, without a word, stood up and headed outside.

He approached the training ground, eyes fixated on Bakugou's intense routine. As he watched the blonde's muscles flex, a thought struck him, and he whispered to himself, "Man, he's hot." He then mentally facepalmed, realizing the pun he unintentionally made.

As Shoto neared, Bakugou paused, glaring at him with his usual scowl. "What do you want now, Icyhot?"

Shoto took a deep breath, then began, "Bakugou, you're always high spirited. No matter what happens, you bounce back, fiery and determined."

Bakugou crossed his arms, looking even more annoyed. "Are you here to give me a pep talk?"

Ignoring the interruption, Shoto continued, "I admire that about you. I've always been torn, always struggling with my identity. But you... you're unapologetically yourself."

Bakugou snorted, "So you have a thing for loud, obnoxious guys?"

Shoto chuckled, "Maybe I have a thing for guys who are genuine. Who aren't afraid to show the world who they are, even if it's a bit... explosive."

Bakugou rolled his eyes, "You're full of cheesy lines today."

There was a moment of silence as Shoto searched for the right words. "I like you because, in a world full of complications, you're straightforward. You wear your heart on your sleeve, even if that heart is often yelling and setting things on fire."

Bakugou stared at Shoto for a long moment, then groaned, "Deku's rubbing off on you with his sappy speeches, isn't he?"

Shoto laughed, "Maybe. But every word is true."

Bakugou huffed, "You're ridiculous."

Despite Bakugou's exasperated reaction, there was a softness in his eyes that wasn't there before. The two shared a moment, the fiery and the frosty, understanding and acknowledging each other in the light of the setting sun.
