The school day began just like any other, with students shuffling in, sleepy-eyed, chatting about their weekends and latest exploits. But for the infamous 'Baku Squad', there was a particular topic that demanded immediate discussion.
As Bakugou took his usual seat, surrounded by Kirishima, Mina, and sero, the atmosphere was thick with anticipation.
As the friends took their seats, Kirishima, always the direct one, asked, "So, what went down with you and Todoroki during your 'date'?"
Bakugou, caught off-guard, turned a shade of pink that was all too revealing. "Nothing. It was just a stupid thing because of the volleyball game."
Mina, eagle-eyed and ever so observant, caught onto Bakugou's telltale blush. "Hold on, is our Bakugou blushing? Do you, perhaps, have feelings for Todoroki?"Bakugou, ever so eloquent, responded with, "Why the hell does it matter?"
The group shared a knowing look. Kirishima, spoke up, "Look, Bakugou, all jokes aside, Todoroki really likes you. We've seen it. And after everything you both have been through, maybe it's worth considering."
The class was filled with a mix of playful banter and serious conversation. Even though Bakugou was known for his brash attitude, his friends could see the underlying confusion and vulnerability.
But just as Bakugou was about to respond, Kaminari, always the source of perfectly timed interruptions, burst into the room, panting. "Guys! You won't believe it!"
Bakugou growled, "What now, Pikachu?"
Kaminari, his excitement palpable, declared, "Shoto's girlfriend is here! She's a new student!"
The room went silent. All eyes turned to Bakugou, waiting for his reaction. Mina whispered, "Is it true? After all that happened?"
Kirishima added, "That doesn't make sense. Why would he—"
Bakugou, looking more surprised than anyone had seen him, took a deep breath. "Looks like today's going to be interesting."
