The atmosphere in the classroom was a mix of hushed whispers and sideways glances. News of the grocery store incident had made its rounds, and the heroics of Todoroki and Bakugou were the talk of the day. Amidst the chatter, Midoriya pulled Todoroki aside for a quiet conversation.
"You still have feelings for Bakugou, right?" Midoriya asked, his earnest green eyes looking for an honest answer.
Todoroki raised an eyebrow but replied, "Of course I do."
Midoriya paused, searching for the right words. "If someone else asked you out now... what would you do?"
Todoroki tilted his head, intrigued. "Why do you ask?"
Midoriya fumbled with his words, face turning a shade redder. "Oh, just... curious, I guess."
Before the conversation could continue, a loud screeching of a chair disrupted the moment. Everyone watched, eyes wide, as Bakugou stood up, walked over to Todoroki, and handed him a juice bottle.
"Don't get any weird ideas, Icyhot," he grumbled, avoiding eye contact. "It's just for your injured hand."
The class went silent, processing the unexpected gesture. Then, the silence was shattered by an eruption of excited exclamations.
Mina squealed, "OMG! That's the closest thing to a love confession we'll ever get from Bakugou!"
Jiro added, "Did anyone capture that? This is gold!"
Kaminari, ever the dramatic one, pretended to faint, "Someone hold me! The sheer romance of that juice bottle!"
Tsuyu, with her usual calm demeanor, commented, "It's nice to see you both getting along, ribbit."
Amidst the chaos, Shoto simply smiled, taking a sip from the juice bottle. "Thanks, Bakugou."
Bakugou huffed, his face redder than anyone had seen before, "Shut it, Icyhot. Just drink the juice."
Midoriya leaned in, whispering to Todoroki, "See? He cares."
Todoroki, amused, replied, "Oh, I never had any doubt about that."
As the day continued, the juice bottle became somewhat of a legend in Class 1-A. It was a symbol of the unspoken bond between the fiery Bakugou and the cool Todoroki. And amidst all the fun and teasing, everyone knew that this was just the beginning of a unique relationship.
