"Ion want nothing to do with him, real shit." I said blankly as I was on FaceTime with Jaida. "Did you talk to him yet?" Jaida asked
& I looked straight at the camera; "Does it look like I wanna talk to dude right now? Cmon Jai be real."
"I'm just saying, dang." Jaida said as she rolled her eyes. Jaida and I continued talking about the situation & how should I go about it.
Until, my Ipad buzzed as I was getting another call. I looked at my Ipad, "Hold on Jai, Mauri calling me ima call you back."
Her eyes widened, "OH! call me back" I nodded & laughed, ending the call & answered for Mauri.
As the call connected butterflies filled my stomach. "Wassup ma" he spoke. His voice was deep & comforting. Almost making me forget about the situation prior.
"Hey Mauri" I said smiling ear to ear. We talked for a little while about nothing too important honestly. "What you doing later?" he asked me. I shrugged, "Nothing really, probably 'bout to go to sleep, why ?"
"I'm on my way over there." I smiled once again, "Ima be over there at eight." he said "Mkay, be safe Mauri." I said with my finger hovering the 'end call' button
"For sure, I love you." he replied, I froze for a second and hesitantly said "Love you too" & hung up. I'm not sure if I actually meant it .
I decided to get my self situated, winding down. I grabbed some Nike Pros, socks, & an oversized tee for pajamas & walked to the bathroom to shower .
I checked on Mia to see if she was asleep. To my surprise she was fast asleep, with the tv on of course. After I turned the tv off, I told my mom that Mauri would be coming.
She didn't seem too fond on him coming over but she still allowed him to come. Finally, I turned the hot water on & got in the shower.

I laid my head on Mauri's chest & scrolled on my spam account. Naturally, I took a picture of me laying on him as a 'goodnight' post for my instagram story.
Not even after a second I posted the picture, Notti texted me..
