CHAPTER 18: MAGIC MISFIRE

Keigo POV

Brody, Calvin, Hayley, Sarah, Mr Matthews and Levi were in the junkyard as they were making a barrier using their Element Stars while me and Rose were near them.

"Five Element Barricade!" they shouted as all of them summoned a barrier.

"See? When you combine the energy of all the five elements, it can create a pretty strong barrier" Brody said.

"Fantastic, we can capture any monster to try and keep them from running away" Calvin said as the six of them brought down the barrier that they did.

Preston appeared in the junkyard and he came up to us.

"There you are" Sarah said.

"Hey Preston, thanks for letting me borrow your Element Star" Levi said as he passed the Element Star back to Preston.

"Sure" Preston said as he looked towards the ground.

"Are you still down about your spell hitting Mr Lunt?" Keigo asked.

"Look, it's totally my fault that he got fired" Preston said.

"Well, I say that we need to find a way to get Mr Lunt his job back" Sarah said.

"Yeah, he's a really good drama teacher. Everybody loved him" Hayley said.

"It's true" Calvin said.

"Everybody loves him. You're right! You're right! What if all of us get the support of the whole school...that could work" Preston said.

"By the way...where's Kanan?" Calvin asked.

"I haven't seen her" Brody said.

"Me too" Levi said.

"I think none of us have" Hayley said.

"She said that she was writing some music down with the help of my band for my next song" Mr Matthews said.

"So that's why your bandmates are here while she was looking up some songs" Sarah said.

"I'll find her. Do you want to help, Rose?" I said.

"Yeah...I'll help you daddy" Rose said.

Kanan POV

Me, my dad's bandmates and his manager were in my dad's classroom.

"How's that song writing going, Kanan?" Jake asked. 

"It's going really great. It's finished but it just needs a song title" I said.

"Fair enough" Jacen said. "Can I have a look at the song?" Caleb asked. "Yeah, sure" I said.

"This song's really good. Did you write this" Caleb said. "Yeah, I did. It wasn't easy but I did it" I said. Jake and Jacen looked at it as well. "That's really good" Jake said. "Yeah...how about you sing it as we play" Jacen said.

"Uh...me...oh no...I can't" I said as I started to get really nervous. "Oh, come on. Your dad says you sing a little in the shower" Caleb said. "And it's embarrassing" I said. Jake just clicked on to what I was trying to say.

"Oh...your husband and your daughter never heard you sing, did they?" Jake asked. "No, they didn't and I'm too scared to even think what they might say about it" I said with my head down as I looked at the floor.

"No one is going to judge you until you face your fears. Cause you never know what they might say or think" Jacen said as him and Jake came up to me. "You really think so?" I asked. "Yeah. So about it?" Jake said.
