After a few hours on the plane, the three of us arrived in Fukuoka, Kyushu. The three of use left the airport after getting out luggage, all of us got into the taxi to head towards our house. After a while, the three of us arrived at our house. The three of us went inside the house when me and Rose were looking around to see where everything was. The three of us are going to unpack our luggage before we ordered a takeout for dinner.
When the three of us had our dinner after we sorted everything out...the two of us were getting ready to go to sleep in our own room after the two of us read Rose a book until she fell asleep in her own room.
Keigo POV
The following morning...I've woken up first as I was admiring my wife's face as she was sleeping in our bed when I was caressing her face a little. I got out of bed and got changed so I can make breakfast for me and Rose. Once Rose came down after she got changed, she's sitting down at the table. "Morning daddy" Rose said. "Morning little chick" I said as I put the plate down in front of her as she started to eat her breakfast.
"Where's mommy?" Rose asked. "She's currently sleeping. I think that she probably needs it after what has happened the past couple of months. I was wondering if you can help me finish setting up Ren's room as a good surprise for her, what do you think?" I said. "Yeah, I can help you out daddy" Rose said as the two of us were eating our breakfast.
The two of us walked into the empty room with the furniture in there for our new arrival that's coming soon. We were unpacking all the boxes using our feathers so that I can put them all together. There wasn't a lot do to but I managed to put it all together with help from Rose.
<TIIME SKIP TO 2 HOURS LATER>
Kanan POV
I just woke up to a empty spot next to me. "Keigo?" I said as I sat up on the bed as I was rubbing the tiredness out of my eyes. I can hear Keigo and Rose's wings flapping as the two of them flew into the room. "Good morning my cute little songbird" Keigo said as he stood in the doorway, leaning on the doorframe. "Morning mommy" Rose said. "Morning lovebird, little chick. Is something the matter? You're normally in bed around this time, cuddling with me?" I said as I sat up a little bit more on the bed.
"Everything's fine songbird but the two of us got a surprise for you" Keigo said. "What kind of a surprise?" I asked. "That would ruin the surprise for you mommy" Rose said. "Why don't you get out of bed and close your eyes" Keigo said. I got out of bed and closed my eyes.
Keigo's wings were wrapped up around me as I am following Rose as the three of us walked for a few minutes until we stopped. "You can open your eyes now songbird" he said as he moved his wings to let me see the surprise. When my eyes adjusted into view...I saw Ren's room completely finished. "Keigo, Rose...did you two finished Ren's room?" I asked as I was about to cry.
"I know how stressed you are and since we're getting ready for our new arrival so I did it today so you wouldn't worry about it getting done and I had some help from Rose" Keigo said as he was hugging me with one of his arms as he held Rose with another. "Yeah...I wanted to help daddy out cause we wanted to make you really happy mommy" Rose said.
"It's really perfect" I said. "It's going to be ok songbird" Keigo said. "Thank you Keigo, Rose" I said as I turned around and hugged the two of them. "I really do love you songbird" Keigo said as he was resting his head onto my shoulder. "I love you mommy" Rose said. "I love you lovebird and little chick" I said as I was holding onto the two of them.
<TIME SKIP TO A MONTH LATER>
When it's a couple of weeks before Rose would be starting her first day at a new school, Keigo was making some breakfast for us. Me and Rose went down into the kitchen, the two of sat down at the table as Keigo put our plates in front of us. When we finished eating our breakfast and getting ready to go to the hospital, a video call came in and I saw that it was Dane Romero.
I accepted the video call. "Hey Dane...how's it going over there?" I said. "Hi Kanan...it's going really great over here" Dane said. "How's my dad?" I asked. "He's fine. Speaking about him...I just wanted to ask you something" he said. "A good thing or a bad thing?" I asked.
"A good thing. I was wandering if I can have your approval to marry your dad?" he said. "Yeah, you can have my approval" I said. "That's really great. Are you heading out to go somewhere?" he said. "Yeah...me, Keigo and Rose are heading to the hospital right now" I said.
"Oh yeah, you're going to the hospital to be giving birth to your son, right?" he asked. "Yeah, we are" Keigo said as he came into the view. "Hey Keigo" Dane greeted. "Hey-yo" he said as he was going to be putting one more thing into the car. "Well, I'm going to let you do some stuff while we're heading to the hospital and I'll have to call you later. Also, can you tell my dad I said hi" I said. "Sure thing. I will tell him" Dane said.
<TIME SKIP>
The three of us were in the hospital room, getting ready to meet our son and her little brother.
"Hey Rose, come here" I said as Keigo picked Rose up and the two of them came over to me. "I can feel him kicking daddy" Rose said. Keigo felt him kick as well.
After a while, I am starting to give birth to our son.
It was about 9:30pm when it started to happen and I started to scream in pain.
Rose was playing outside as Keigo held my hand.
After a while, our son has finally arrived. "Congratulations, it's a boy" the doctor said as she handed our son to me. "Hey Ren, how are you" I said as Keigo kissed my forehead. "You did really well, songbird" he said. I'm getting comfortable while Keigo was getting Rose from outside.
When Keigo and Rose came into the room, the two of them came up to me. "Rose...meet your little brother...Ren" Keigo said. "Hi Ren. I'm going to help mommy and daddy to protect you" she said to her little brother. "Welcome to the world, Ren Takami" Keigo said.
