30. Dating

Anuj sat in his room thinking if he offended Anupamaa somehow and if she would never talk to him again. He wasn't even expecting a conversation with her if she hadn't initiated but to think that they won't have it because of him made his heart sink. He was quite tensed and had went to the rooftop a lot of times to check if she is there and he could apologize but almost the entire day had elapsed and he didn't see her.

When his heart became too heavy of his own consciousness he went to Arunimaa's room. She was sitting on the bed with folded legs with a laptop in her lap and he would point occasionally and tell her how it is used. She seemed too engrossed in learning and he guessed Manik finally convinced her into learning tech and started off from basics with her.

Anuj adored them for a while as he saw Arunimaa asking quite childish questions about the laptop usage and Manik answered it all patiently. He entered.

"Anuj.... ", Manik removed his spects and looked at him, "Come in... What happened ?"

He sat on the bed.

"Nothing... Aap sikhaaiye maa ko main to just aise hi aa gaya tha...", Anuj said calmly.

Manik smiled and got back into making her type something on the keyboard. She has to find each and every letter exclusively. "I might never finish documentation if I go like this Mani...", she was vexed.

"Relax Aruna... You'll learn... It takes time... You can't type fast in a day. Just keep trying, look at me how fast I AM...", he started typing quite fast and she didn't even know how is he searching for the keys and typing while she has to look out for even the spacebar. "See... You'll also learn to type like this soon...".

He placed the laptop back in her lap and she read what he wrote.

'I Love you Aruna. I love you so much more than I could tell, more than I could express... More than myself more than this entire universe... I have loved you since forever and would love you till the end. You are the best thing that happened to me... From the moment I saw you in that pink suit in college to this day when you are wearing this pink saaree, everything has changed except my love for you. No wait!! It has changed too cause I love you even more now. For the kids you gave me and for the love you showered on me... I am blessed to have you and our kids that add so much more disruptions in our romance but I love them so much... They are a part of US Aru and I still remember how I felt when you told me you were pregnant. And trust me when I say this... Nobody could've been better for me than you, Arunimaa. '

Arunimaa blushed as she read the text and looked at his face, everything else vanished and eyes fixated on his lips and she neared his face.

"MAAA...!! I am here!!! What are you doing!!", Anuj crawled to sit in between them and stared at her.

She got startled all of a sudden as to from where did he come. "Y..ou... Umm... I... I... Umm... I was not doing anything!! There was just something on his face I was going to remove it...", she lied.

"I know what it was... Your will to romance him... Arey you ask me to leave first then you do na...", Anuj said.

"Okay then leave I'll call you when your mom is done...", Manik added.

Arunimaa held Anuj's arms and made him stay. "Manii shh!! You stay baby... When did you come!?", she scratched her nose.

"When you were quite busy with dad's laptop...!!"

"Ohh!! He was just teaching me how to use this thing.", she looked into the screen and tried to remember what button he told her that would delete what's written on there. Anuj peeped into the screen and she turned the laptop the other side.
