Kelly is a good mom. It was her first time becoming a mother, so her ambitions and dreams were extremely high for her first daughter whom she named Y/N L/N. She aspires to make Y/N into the girl she never strived to be, which is a smart and beautiful girl. Although Chris thinks Kelly is a smart and beautiful girl, Kelly still feels inadequate about herself. By channeling all her dashed dreams into Y/n, Kelly was able to feel fulfilled with her life. But Kelly was well aware of how grandiose her request was, so she decided to always appreciate the success of her only daughter who must have worked hard to achieve her request as a form of gratitude. According to Chris, this is a good thing, so he always supports Kelly's parenting. Because just like Kelly, he is also a first-time father.

Y/n was once told by Kelly, what she was like when she was young. All Y/n knew was that her mother was an average woman, from an economically mediocre family. Her mother dreamed of becoming a perfect individual in order to avoid a difficult life like Y/n's grandmother. Marrying Chris was her best decision but it cost her her biggest dream. Kelly has no regrets about giving up her life to commit to being Chris's wife, but a deep sense of sadness cannot be denied. The presence of Y/n in her life was able to erase the feeling of hopelessness in Kelly because she had new hope, so Kelly loved Y/n very much and wanted the best for her daughter.

Kelly has a close relationship with Sheila Broflovski because the first time they chatted when they crossed paths while picking up their children at South Park Elementary School, they felt fit in very well. What made her feel most in tune with Sheila was her son, Kyle Broflovski, who was the winner of the spelling bees at their school. Her son's achievements made Sheila's impression on Kelly a positive influence. Secretly, Kelly sees Sheila as a competitor, while Sheila herself does not have such a view of Kelly. Kelly's observation skills-which she passed down to Y/n-were able to make Kelly know if Sheila was sincere about being friends with her. So as much as possible she wants to continue to maintain her friendship as a gesture of appreciation, as well as receiving good radiation from her family.

More than once Kelly had stopped by Sheila's house for a quick chat. Of course, she had met little Kyle who was always hanging out with Stan Marsh, Kenny McCormick, and Eric Cartman. Kelly would often bring Y/n to Sheila's house, but strangely enough, Y/n never met Kyle. If Kyle was at home, then Y/n was definitely not coming. And if Y/n was coming, Kyle would be off on an adventure with his little group of friends. Rather than befriending Kyle, her daughter ended up becoming friends with Sheila's kitten. Not that this helped Kelly's goals in any way, but at least Y/n wouldn't get bored coming to Sheila's house often.

And now for the fourth time Kelly had come with Y/n, Kyle was once again not at home. "Like always, Kyle is playing with Stan somewhere," Sheila replied when Kelly stopped by her house and asked about Kyle's whereabouts one Saturday afternoon. At the time, Kelly had intended to give Sheila's family a souvenir of her vacation as well as meet Kyle with her only daughter. Unfortunately, her plan did not go smoothly, again.

"Kitty, kitty!" Y/n tried to call the kitten that was lying down in the living room of Sheila's house. The kitten ran away as soon as it realized Y/n was calling her. Running out of the door, she clung to the short legs of Y/n, who was still in the 4th grade. With a feeling of excitement, Y/n took the kitten in her arms.

"Y/n is really close to Kitty, isn't she?" Sheila commented.

Kelly chuckled. "You still haven't named her yet?"

"Kitty. Her name is Kitty. Well technically, Y/n is the one who named her. I call her that, Kyle calls her that because of me, and Gerald and Ike call her that because of Kyle. We didn't think to name her anything else," Sheila explained. Both of them laughed uproariously.

Suddenly, Sheila had a brilliant idea. "Hey! If they're so close, why don't you adopt her? This is actually Gerald's brother's cat, he asked me to find a new family for her. But until now I still haven't found one," Sheila said as Kelly listened intently. After Sheila finished explaining, Kelly then saw her daughter happily petting the kitten.
