Calvin spends time with puppy Christian.
"Are you sure about this?" Tracy asked her husband.
"Sure I'm sure." He answered her. "I wish to have one on one time with each of our children, since I've been working more than usual lately and haven't seen them as often."
"Okay then." She said. "Troy and I shall keep the others preoccupied while one of them is spending time with you. And if they become too much to handle, let Troy and I know."
Calvin flicked his wrist. "I'm positive everything will turn out just fine." Tracy hummed unsure but won't say a word.
A couple hours later, Calvin is finishing brushing one of the red puppies with honey-colored eyes. "All done." Calvin chirped. "Now your fur is silky smooth."
The puppy allowed him to scratch her chin happily before hearing the grandfather clock chime. "Time's up." He picks her up and is carrying her to the den where Tracy, Troy, and the rest of the pups are.
When the red puppy spotted her siblings, she wiggled in Calvin's grasp before jumping down and joining them.
Tracy chuckled while Troy poured him a glass of water. "I take it went well." She guessed.
He thanked Troy before taking a much needed sip. "Very well." He said. "Thus far, the six of them and I have been enjoying each other's company."
"Just one child left." Troy stated as he eyes the red runt watching a supernatural soap opera on TV.
"I can't marry you, Mason."
"Why not, Michelle?"
"Because I am in love with your twin brother."
The red runt was so engrossed in the program that he failed to notice his father sneaking from behind.
The runt yelped when Calvin snatched him away. "It is time for us to spend some quality time together." Calvin said with a smirk so wide his fangs were showing.
The red runt saw them and began crying in his palms. "What is the matter, little one?" The runt continued to cry as he attempted to escape while Calvin tried to stop him from running away.
"So much for his track record." Troy muttered.
"Don't weep." Calvin pleaded with him. "I would never hurt you." He placed him on his shoulder where the runt can see the TV.
"I can't marry you, Michelle."
"Why not? I left Mason for you."
"Because I am in love with the gardener."
The runt made a squeaky gasp as he watched, and Calvin noticed.
"You like that soap opera?" He asked. "Well lucky for you I love that show as well." He walked over and sat in front of the TV and placed the red runt on his lap, and they watched the program together.
"Isn't that sweet?" Tracy asked Troy.
"I don't care, as long as that pesky fur ball stays out of my kitchen." He said before leaving as Calvin talks to the runt about his favorite characters and pointing things out as the show plays.
